  1. Hi everyone!

I know these topics have been done to death, but I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a good agility club in the Newcastle area??

I have one aussie who is trialing level, but a younger girl who hasn't really done much (except the basics that i'm teaching at home :) ).

Thanks in advance for your help!!

    Beth

  2. Thank you everyone!! I can't wait to actually sit down and have a proper play with it - these were all just point and shoot and hope for the best!

And yep, it's nice to have such a good looking, willing model on hand :p

(And excuse poor Lotties long toenails, as was pointed out in another thread with nothing else said about the pics, I promise they were done only 2wks ago, but they've now been redone  )

  3. Thanks MnDM!!

I'm LOVING this lens, but because i'm in the middle of exams, i'm making myself not go out and take lots of photos, but I've taken a few (mainly of Lottie :p )

So - here are a few of my first pics with it - did I say I LOVE this lens :D

    My gorgeous girl, Lottie...

And just some bird ones (which are all cropped - just can't get over the quality of this lens!!)

  4. Yep - I'm very excited, that's for sure!! And yep Kirislin - it'll be a massive step up, but I was looking at other lenses for around the $400 mark, then I thought, for a little extra i'd like to get an L lens, and then this one popped up and it sounded perfect - oh, and it's in the mail as we speak :D

And I will indeed - 3 weeks and i'm finished uni FOREVER and i'll be a vet :D wahooooo - so after 3 wks i'll be out there really getting back into it!!

  5. Hi everyone!! Long time no post for me, but I always keep up to date with everyone's gorgeous photos!!

I thought I would ask for people's opinions.... I've been offered a very good quality 70-200mm f4 L no IS lens for $500.... With good, filters, bag etc. I just want people's opinions on the lens and that deal etc!! The main photos I take are just of Lottie/dogs :) what do people think of the non IS version??

    Thanks everyone!!! :D

  6. Yesterdays pic

We haven't had many flies this year. i wonder where they all are?

Pretty sure they're all at my place, Newfsie!!

Loving all these pics everyone!! I've got some sad news, i'm pulling out of the 365 day project - I didn't even make 2 months this year  I just don't have the time with my last year of uni, and i'm also not enjoying any of the pics i'm taking :( so i'm giving up!!

I will keep popping in though to look at all your wonderful photos - keep up the good work everyone :D

  7. I've been so slack with the editing - I'll get around to it, but I have a feeling i'm not going to make it this year again, with my last year at uni and out on rotations, I think it's going to be a bit crazy

Loving all these pics :D

  8. Aww, loving all the last 2 days of pics  :D

Oh, look at the babies, they grew up so fast!!

Not much from me, and really unhappy with my photos. My 50mm lens is playing up soooo much and I don't really have any other lens :( so annoying being a poor uni student!

Day 29 - Just playing around with shutter speeds...

Aww - Chazer is so beautiful, Helen!! That second picture is stunning!

Yesterday I was looking for something in my drawers, and I found Lotties puppy collar - where does the time go!? Maybe it's a hint I need another puppy.....

    Day 27

Well, today I went out shopping for some new joggers - I've lost nearly 8kg over the last 3 weeks, and really have upped my exercise, so it was a bit of a treat :D I went to Rebel sports to check them out, and I got an awesome pair of ASICs runners for $60 - they were $160  I was so happy!! I had noticed them a couple weeks back when they were on sale for $110 - so glad I waited! They are awesome :D :D

  10. Lovely pics again this week :D

Snook, Justice is such a happy, gorgeous boy!! You really capture him well!

Poor hot Kuma - sounds a bit like Lottie, she's always trying to find the coolest spots. I really like that photo of him, he's a stunning man!!

LOVE the ears Annie  What a gorgeous girl you have there!

 ktig - someone looks very proud of their efforts!!

LMS - Love your pic of Riddick - what a nice, lean, althetic dog!! Looks like he enjoys the water :D

DSO - that sounds familiar! Love the one of Jess!!

Jenni - Rosie and Ella look so cute in their aussie day gear!!

Love that shot of Lacy, TLC! She's such a sweet girl!!

SC - both gorgeous shots, but I really like the 2nd pic!!

Sorry if I missed someone (i'm sure I did :o ), all these pics are gorgeous!!

Not much from me this week.....

    Week 4/52 - my feral little monster, lucky she's cute ;) :D

  11. Aww such gorgeous little babies, Newfsie!!

    Another great shot, Risyntira!!

Lovely pic Helen, love the colours!! And yep, the slinky machine is really cute - mum had one and I said how cute it was, so I got one for Christmas

Day 25 - Not much from me, while I was out exercising at our usual spot, I came across these  Unfortunately I only had my iPhone with me, so this pic is heavily cropped and pretty noisy, but still cute!

  12. Zero is outside during the day with access to the garage in case it's hot. In my house the garage is the coolest place to be if it's hot - it's well insulated.

Yep, that's the same here! When i'm out, Lot has free access to the yard, as well as the garage (and i'm pretty sure she spends 90% of the time sleeping in there!).

  13. Gorgeous pics again today :D

Day 24 - the apple slinky machine - you can see the handle at the back, you turn that, and it moves the rod (that's been peirced into the apple) up through a circular blade, and then the blade at the side peels it, it's very cute, hehe!!
