  1. *slaps forehead* why didnt i think of that lol thanks guys
  2. So for the moment my dogs are flea free but as it starts to warm up I know the little buggers are gonna come looking to hitch a ride on the fur kids! As they are all diff weights and sizes (I have 4 and my partner has a boxer puppy and will be moving in with me shortly) buying frontline for eg is waaaaay too expensive as no pet shops or vets in my area sell them seperately due to safety issues. I have heard something about a flea injection so I was just looking for some more info on it like how long it last, how much it costs and if it even works. Any info would be appreciated
  3. There were 3 in the bed and the hairy one said roll over, roll over hahaha VERY cute! My bed looks like this most mornings but there's 4 dogs and 2 people!
  4. My partner recently brought a Boxer puppy. He'll be 14 weeks this saturday. OUr friends have his sister from the same littler so we plan on having them spend a lot of time together so both dogs with be desexed to avoid the obvious! So we cant decide at what age its best to desex? Some say its best to wait til they're mature (12 monthsish) so they fill out well and others say it doesnt matter....opinions please
  5. LOOOOOVE THE PICS!!! Me too me too!!! How dare they be so sweet! My partner recently got a Boxer pup. I already have 4 of my own dogs but the smallest is my Chi, Pablo. He's only 25cm long if that and weighs 1.1kgs so I wasnt sure if it would work having this lanky 5.6kg Boxer pup playing with my little man but its actually been great! It seems Pablo is the boss already and we've been semi successful at training the Boxer to lie down while playing with the Chi. If its gets too much for Pablo he just makes for higher ground (like mummy's arms lol) or grabs his jowls haha Thats my experience so far
  6. Good idea about buying home brand pads! He cocks his leg but its only ever a few drops. Ive used several products that are SUPPOSED to deter a dog from peeing, none of which contained amonia as im aware that smells like wee to them...and cats!
  7. A few seconds before I read this comment I had just finished picking up Pablo's clothes and toys lol
  8. I dont think its a case of not being toilet trained, i think its definately a marking his dominance kind of issue. Im going to try the belly bands and see how they go cos I may want to show or stud him in the future...im biased but he's 25cm x 25cm of pure handsomeness!
  9. Thanks for the great advice Sas, I've checked out the belly bands and they look prefect, hopefully I can get one small enough as he's only 25cm x 25cm!
  10. I should re-phrase, he doesnt have accidents inside its like he deliberately saves some after being outside as he'll just do a few drops
  11. So in essence he'll pee on himself lol I actually didnt get him direct from the breeder, its a long story but the person who had him first had NO idea, she was feeding him adult "my dog" food! As for training, he's good while im at work but when I get home ill take him out (refuses to use the doggy door like the other 3 even without the flap on) he'll do several wees but then comes back inside and does a few more drops here and there.
  12. What's a belly band? I got him when he was already a few months old which is why training has been harder plus I've never had a Chi so not too experienced with them but my other 3 dogs are really good
