we HAD a black Border collie x German shepherd lived till 17! x but no, oldest at the moment only 7! our cat we had to get put down the other day was over 15 years though too, they hold on! x

i'm not sure on weight, hasnt been done in a while. as for tricks she knows sit, paw, roll over...she can pull the plug out of the bath and retrived the soccer ball for us and waits for us to kick it again but she figured out most of them herself and i just associated words with them so she would learn. I really wish we had some sort of agility set up here for her....... she hasnt learnt 'stay' or wait yet though....... she doesnt like leads and she play bites when i try to change her collar she eats EVERYTHING!

Hope all the puppies and families are enjoying life together we should all post a pic when theyrre like a yeear old and show a before meets after photo My BC is doing well.... the neighbour asked me yesterday is she was 9 months old! She's not even four! she has just sprouted up though!

oh does this sound familiar or what! My little croc been here almost 4 weeks and have only had one sleep in . and that was till 9, as she was down the hall . it felt so weird im use to getting up about 6 now and watching bewitched, Jeanie then Sabrina lol. so clear in my head. although this morning it was 4:00! we usuallyy go back to bed if she wants a wee but i channel surfed wanted to watch the sun rise from behind the mountains You don't have kids do you?! I think it is so funny how similar this forum is to a group of expectant and new mothers. I've got three kids. My youngest is not sleeping through the night yet, at 10 months. And I hopefully have a puppy arriving in about 2 months. Luckily I'm used to not getting any sleep. I think that if no one woke my up, I'd just wake up myself out of habit. I haven't had a sleep in for about 5 1/2 years (unless you count nights where one of the kids wouldn't sleep so they end up sleeping in). No wonder I'm unmotivated and waste time on things like the net! Good luck with the night shift. oh no not yet :D only children I have are my animals! all 30 of 'em haha ! Wow, it sounds like hard work for you, i wish you luck with the new puppy. They're such a handful! im trying to toggle raising this puppy as well as keeping 2 other dogs apart, The dog is booked in for desexing on Tues but our bitch has came in season. I have bought her sanitary pants arriving next week and had her in a nappy , trying to keep them apart but theyre usually together 24/7. this is horrible hes barking now i've got the leash on him and shes in the pen in a separate room he just wont shut up NIGHTMARE! 5 secs i have turned around or walked to the kitchen and his pinky has come all the way out and shes crying . and he gets on her, i cant stand this, she better not be in child . i dont think with how busy we are with work and the puppy to take care of a few more, and we not Breeders so we shouldnt let this happen until tuesday..... gah hes wining now

so cute little puppies, good to see some borders too . my girl been here a few weeks.............this morning as soon as she woke up took her outside - she did a pee then we went into the lounge/kitchen for brekky , i turned around and she had done another wee and three poops ! GRRR she just goes wherever, sometimes she goes to the door , and she sits and paws and rools over - sometimes hahaha! got electrocuted by a fence up the back today and ran like they do , 2 minutes later she was running through the puddles like nothing had happened, feel bit bad tho will watch her closer! hope all the puppies are going well x 'Sit..Paw!' oh thats our One-eared cat above! not sure how old he is but he was left behind at this house twice so we the third family ! =) Harley we call him x

Yes, she has a bad habit of 'crocodiling' we call it lol . shes snap snap snappy . when she plays, such a good sleeper though at night ....slept on the bed xx

She is 9 weeks old as of yesterday, and her name is Terra... accordingly . :D first night slept really well, we got up to do one wee...then in the morning got up at 7, too cold she didnt wat to do wees so she weed inside, pooed outside then did both inside .. only 5 days for you! not long at all ut seems like it!

as she is very loyal she followed us off leash up the back of the property with my other Border, the snapping at heels got a bit much at some points but got better. also she ran through all the muddy puddles and was filthy so had a little bath, was very good. at tea time she slept at my feet, then on me, just had to pass her on to someone else to get on here, she was staring at me but now asleep, sorry if theres too many pics here goes. she is home finally. after we picked her up, she was so licky and friendly, took her to mums as she lives close to airport and our place is an hr drive home. Took all the pics there, she was very friendly and already knows how to sit. she followed me like a shadow! then we went to see an uncles new house she slept on their couch the whole time! .. they have a ACD x BC x Kelpie, shes nice but wanted nothing to do with my girl. then went home at about 3, SHE WAS SO GOOD IN THE CAR TRIPS! honestly she just sits on me! anyway everyone who meets her lovees her colouring and are like 'thats not a bc!' haha. the BC likeness is really coming out now, she wants to chase the cats and she nips at heels so we'll have to work on that... shes sleeping in the kitchen at the moment. thank God, though i'd never get on here. have a pile of work today. have to separate her from the two little house dogs by a gate at the moment because they are psycho and teach her bad habits. as for toileting , SHE HAS A GREAT BLADDER!! um... shes horrible on the lead, i have it on her but loosely so i can stop her when she jumps at the cats, but she does NOT like to be walked... so my eveing walk with my older BC and her will be very interesting! WILL POST PICS WHEN I FIND THE CORD TO UPLOAD!!!

UPDATE: tomorrow is the day. she is stuck im Melbourne for the night with Virgin because they couldn't fit her on the plane.... anyway apparently she'll be her about 8:30 in the morning although he didnt sound to sure of him self. will call first thing in the morning to confirm. although this is complicated things. tomorrow morning is better, and she'll get some rest before the next flight x

thanks everyone! soon i'll have my girl and ill be wishing the luck on to the next person.. i would love to tell you that the time flies...but no leaving here after tea.....im more nervous now.... im checking on the flightstats website watching her moovements.... except i dont now which flight shes on now.... sigh will def check last one to make sure its all good.... we have a full house to night, the six of us and the two psycho house dogs, who egt all excited so not loookinf forward to being greeted by them ! and for a cherry on top...i have 3 new study units arrive today! one is due on tuesday!! how will i find the time...

i know how you feel i have been there!! it has taking me since what, last august to finally find the right pup for me.... i was exchanging emails with one breeder for a while and we though this is it , this is our pup! .... ended up too difficult AND she sold it because communicating was hard.... so breeder after breeder and we finally found something...... expensive, long flight, transport companies that just dont want to co operate................ thats why i find it hard to believe that is almost over......... waiting for that reply is always hard.....i spent every day every ten minutes looking for that email! and fianlly its there! and you just ake a deep breath hoping its good news... or pictures! I HOPE IT WORKS OUT FOR YOU, !!!!!!! XXXXXXXXXXXXX

ohh yes piccies! need more where are all the new puppy owners?! i cant believe it ! 2 days!! its all done and dusted, everyone paid up.....costed us $990 all up ! most i have ever spent to buy a dog so arghhhhhh!!!

all this talk of deposits and money ! yes ill join the club ! this is my first time buying purebred so the accounts are certainly feeling it! just scraped up the deposits ha im in the work club too. had 2 assignments due on 23rd... just finished one. i really cannot be bothered with the second ! i have a puppy coming in 3 days! i will be so busy. guess i better get working on it tonight :D lacking inspiration!

okay i have a time!! just got off the phone from transport company shes so good! half the companies wernt interested, she gave a great price A+! she is from All Care Pet Transport. anyway my girl drops in at 21:05 !!! YAY YAY YAY very looong day for her, she leaves first airport at 11:15 i think it calms me to know shes not the first ..... oh and one of her siblings is travelling on her first flight !! =)

ohhhh so thats how it is! NO pressure or anything! no lol im getting my rechargables today you'll be lucky if you can keep me away...i'll be showing her off like a prize cow
