Hi Katie =D My Japanese spitz stayed with me in apartment and I didnt have a problem at all. If you want to toilet outside,a balcony of some sort could work. If your apartment is mostly carpet, vacuuming can take a lot of time but this would be the same with the other breeds you mention in your first post. It also depends on the size of your apartment but in general mine had enough space to go do mad zoomies around and well some training goes a long way too :D good luck searching! eta: oh i had some people (living in the same apartment building) scream when they saw kairu.. when he was a puppy so that might be something you want to consider if you're getting a big dog haha.. especially if you need to share lifts.

He's doing great pip :laugh: turning slightly gray in colour haha but I'm hoping ASAP. hopefully we'll be back this year.. things are coming into place :D

Saturday morning would be great.. If we're doing a weekday I'll need to know at least a week in advance to see if I can shift work to a different day.. But Easter break is coming so any day then. Kairu knows to wait which helps the photo taking but in this photo he was busy with the rabbit fur that he couldn't care about me clicking away Eta: look at simba, so cute

Ok not everywhere but on my sofa. He knows where to go and has been perfect until yesterday when he decided the sofa is a good place to pee. Did it again today... He thankfully doesn't pee everywhere on the carpet but I'm wanting opinions on why he starts to pee on the sofa and be a little devil. Any ideas?
