  1. I know this club - i have helped been an instructor there . . . i think there OB (which is all they provide) will be closing as not enough trainers are volunteering let alone not enough public interest. :)
  2. Way to far, Coffs Harbour is 3hrs+ (away on a good clean drive) and Port is 1.5hr away, their training times run too close with work and its not worth going all the way out there to only really get 30min of real training done with my dogs .. .. but thanks Would prefer someone within say 30min of Taree
  3. Hi im looking for a relatively serious training buddy who is in the Manning Valley who would like to partner up for some training sessions for my dogs and their own. Someone who is open to a range of sports eg OB, RN, Ag and TD and someone who is above novice stage preferably or at least very enthusiastic and determined. Its lonely training by myself and its always more rewarding having a buddy who can help see mistakes from an outside perspective. Happy to rotate locations for training and i have a lot of gear for a range of sports. Can post in here or PM :)

Didn't know that Markku carried the gene until this - now we do :) These two make about 7 or 8 blue ever born in Oz. thats more then what they have overseas. I'm loving watching the grow - soo cute!

  12. Well done! Thanks :D Cynder is my first agility dog - she blows me away at her drive and effort - but we are still pretty novice and learning :) we have only been to a handful of trials and she scored a 3 out of 3 for the gamblers Cynder is a Belgian Shepherd Tervueren (named after a dragon) i wont drown this page in pictures - but if anyone wants to see some of her trailing they are HERE

  15. Having owned a LC GSD for a few years now - i recommend a metal comb (poodle comb), a slicker brush, and a long pin cushion brush. ive only ever used scissors to line up the hair on the hock from looking uneven (but with removing the all the hair) and under the paws around the pad without removing the furnishings above. My girl will go in the ring later this year (first i need her signed over by specialist judges) Brush the neck against the grain towards the head and get the dog to shake before going in the ring so the hair sits back in a down motion but without losing the bodiness of the coat, and the chest brushed up and forward. i like to give a 'mane' look to my girl because i like her looking fluffy. :) the back hair i have laying down and the pants i like to fluff a little. The above is IMO - i suppose there is no wrong grooming yet - as the breed has only been officially signed over in Germany and in Oz this year.
