  1. Thanks for this advice, is the antiseptic wash something that is available only from the Vet?
  2. Thanks, may give this a go. It's the 2nd time it's happened, this time much worse than the first and it looks so painful.
  3. Just after some advice from anyone who has dealt with interdigital cysts before. Our year old male stafford has developed one that is looking rather sore and I have read that epsom salts is a good idea for soaking the paw in. Has anyone used this before and with what success? Would like to try something before going to the Vet.
  4. Unfortunately they had done the same to an old couch we put outside, that ended up at the tip! I am amazed that the doona still remains intact. Give them time I suppose. I took these the other day 1st pic, not knowing I was watching them tear my hubby's shoe to bits and "oh no we've been caught"
  5. This is not the first time something like this has happened and it definitely won't be the last!
  6. Doggy pyjamas, how cute! Do they actually keep them on overnight? I wouldn't have a hope of keeping them on my two.
  7. No I didn't. Should have got him to do it though since it took me ages. I couldn't help but laugh, definitely one of those I told you so moments!!
  8. We used to crate both our sbt's at night but lately have been giving them the run of the spare room. Hubby and I went out for dinner the other night and hubby insisted that we put them "to bed" where I was of the opinion to leave them outside as we do during the day. Well we went with hubby's idea and this is what we came home to...... Another soft toy bites the dust!!!
  9. Yep Chi for sure, oh how cute. Doesn't look like it's going to be real big.
  10. OMG, I think that could be the cutest puppy I've seen in my life.
  11. That is one cute puppy! Such a beautiful breed, can't wait to follow your journey
  12. As Sandra777 has said, 2 very different temperaments. Although hubby is saying either one or the other I think maybe more research is needed to find a breed that everyone is happy with and that is going to suit their lifestyle. Definitely approach breeders to have a look at and interact with the adult dogs. All well and good getting a cute puppy but you need to be aware of what that puppy is going to grow into and what needs it is going to have. Staffordshires are beeaauutiful dogs (I have 2) but are definitely not for everyone. Good luck to the family!!!
  13. Wow, I thought I was achieving something walking my 2 staffords together but after reading this discussion I clearly see that others are doing better. 5 big dogs at once is incredible. My two are generally ok but it takes a few minutes of walking and correcting before they settle into heeling properly so I'm not dragged along for 40 minutes. My youngest also likes to greet other dogs and I'm not a big person so 2 is enough for me.
  14. What great looking dogs! I pass one on my dog walking route very similar to Kalais.
  15. Aw what a cutie. My boy Buster who is 11 months now has the same eyes. Ever since he was tiny he has always looked at me with the sadest "hug me" eyes and I'm so glad that even though he's growing so fast, those eyes have stayed the same.
