Hi everyone Haven't posted in a while Wondering if we could have any recent experiences shared about boarding facilities in Sydney and beyond up to the Hunter Valley. After losing our much loved old Cav last year we have a new family member who is a rescue dog - he is about 2 years old, 23 kgs and has a lovely kind heart. I going to post some pics in another thread to see if we can pin down his breed(s) LOL, but we think he may be a cross pointer/cattle dog. Hi, Our dearly loved 11 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel "Mickey" needs to lose a little weight. firstly - have been researching but end up getting conflicting answers about how many calories he needs per day - can anyone help me here? - he has a walk each day but otherwise he is slowing down also, anyone have a successful diet they have fed their lovely pooch? Hi, We recently stayed at http://www.oldbara.com.au/ Old Bara Guesthouse just outside Mudgee. Need to go on dirt track for about 15 minns to get to property Dogs allowed inside...great yard also. cottage is on a family cattle property - lovely people. cheers :D Jo-Ann

Hi all We recently stayed at Woodies Cottage in Cootamundra www.woodiescottage.net Pets by arrangement - we stayed there with our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel & it was great. Allowed inside. Self-contained, good backyard however not securely fenced. Four bedrooms [can sleep 9], bbq, outdoor seating, paytv & dvd player, air-con, gas heating, 2 bathrooms, need only bring food & toiletries cheers Jo-Ann

Thanks for the replies I know they probably wouldn't know if we did have our dog with us [as seen in my avatar] as we would certainly make sure the car was returned as we found it, however, just trying to be honest We are travelling from Sydney to Cootamundra & back in the April school holidays
