Hi Am looking for something that will last until adulthood (if they don't destroy it first ;) ) and was about to purchase a 42 inch when someone mentioned to me that a 36 inch would be the way to go. I have seen both sizes and I thought the 36 inch looked a bit squishy Just to be clear these are the collapsible home crates I am talking about, not the travel ones. Help?? Also are the ones that you find on Ebay/Deals2you etc. any good? They look exactly the same as the ones in Pet Barn but are about a third of the price....? Anyone bought/used one before and if so how did they hold up? Thanks in advance Kellie

Hi Just wondering how rare it is to find a silver blue eyed pup in a litter? After researching the breed for a while now and deciding that we would prefer a highly energetic dog/bitch to fit in with our active lifestyles we have decided that a Siberian Husky would be the perfect fit for our family. I saw a photo of a silver sibe online and haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. I love the pale grey look with those striking blue eyes. Is it common to get a a few silvers in the mix? I know it shouldn't matter what they look like as temperament far outweighs looks when it comes to these dogs (and all dogs really) but still..... Cheers Kellie

Thanks everyone. We went to the show at Erskine Park today and I did get to talk to a couple of the exhibitors/breeders and they were lovely. They also told me about the October show which we will definitely be going to.

Thanks Darkrai. We are from Wollongong but no problems in travelling to Penrith. Do you know if there will be husky breeders there? Where in Erskine Park is it? My husband grew up near there.

Hi Does anyone know of any more shows/expos that are being held in NSW this year? When I click on the calender/events link for NSW it says access is restricted (or something like that). We are thinking about getting a husky but would love to meet a few breeders and have a chat with them and of course meet some of their beautiful babies! Thanks Kellie
