  1. RIP Scruff. My Bronte will be waiting for you at RB.
  2. Thanks for all the support guys. I miss him a lot but know he will be waiting for me.
  3. I have had Bronte since he was 6 weeks old. He went through moving house with us and a divorce. He would have turned 15 in 5 months but became frail and wouldnt eat over the last few days. The vet said it was the kindest thing to do. Run free sweet Bronte and thank you for being our loyal friend.
  4. K9 Thank you for giving Pippin so much love in the short time you had him. The pic with the baby made me Run free sweet Pippin.

Sas I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You made the ultimate sacrife for him. BIG hugs from me.
  6. Glad I am not the only one who does it. I agree though fifi moving them onto the side also helps the animals/birds that eat the dead animal. I have a baby brushtail possum that I found on the weekend in mums pouch. If I hadnt of stopped she would have been killed.Took mum onto the side of the road and promised her I would look after her baby. Might be nuts to most people but I wouldnt have it any other way. My kids do the same thing and stop to get lizards off the road sunning themselves. I would rather they did that than run them over like some teenagers would.
  7. I am the odd one out here I know but I take the dead roos, rabbits etc off the road and put them on the side so they dont get squashed. I am an animal lover and I rescue native animals so I hate to see anything killed. Oh and I dont eat meat.
  8. Travis had a great home with a great family. He loved the kids and followed the husband everwhere. The family moved to the country on some land. They went out for 20min and left Travis outside. They came home to find Travis dead on the side of the road. He had been hit in the head by a car. The family is devastated as am I. Travis was the sweetest dog I have met. He wasnt with me as a rescue for long but he was so special. RIP Travis
  9. I have 2 rescue pups coming from Renbury and one has brain damage. I have been told that she plays with her sister but sometimes has to stop and think where to put her feet. She also will stand in a corner and just bark. Not at anything in particular. I am not sure where to go with her. The pound said she wasnt to bad but I am just wondering what the chances of her getting a home will be. This is Pheebe.
  10. ;) Pirate was a very special little man. He was very loved by Rozzie and Trish and was taken way to soon. May he run free forever with all the fur kids gone before him. Too good for this world. You are both in my thoughts Run free sweet Pirate you were loved by all
  11. What a beautiful bunny. I am sorry for your loss. Al out furry creatures are special to us. Loving thoughts
  12. RnB I took our old 14 year old Silky to the vet Monday. He hadnt eaten for 3 days was very lethargic and looked terrible. He is nearly blind and is deaf. I was ready for the vet to say its his time But he took his temp and said it was high. He thought maybe he had some sort of infection. Blood was taken and he was put on Rimadyl and anti biotics. Well 2 days later he is like a different dog. He is eating again and runnning around. The blood came back and he had an infection. A second opinion is a good idea. I hope George is here with you for a while longer
  13. Sue I didnt know I am so sorry. I know you will make the right decision. You are in my thoughts Karen
