  1. I think I know who you are now. Did you come to one of our whippet fun days at Healesville greyhound track a few years ago. Have you got a 3 legged Iggy? Fidget's a cute name. I was also thinking about Smidgen Yep, that was us! All the way from bloody NSW! Smidgen is nice, I like it. Names are funny things. If somebody had ever told me that I would one day be owned by a Bambi and Lucca I would have slapped them silly!! Devil and Killer is more my style but I just could not change their names, not for anything. (They were adopted)
  2. You are very lucky Kirislin. She is one ADORABLE little bubba. I have been following their progress on facebook. I have three of her relatives here with me. Widget looks sooooo much like my Bambi! I reckon your little Girl will be just as gorgeous (and troublesome!!LOL) Congratulations! You scored GOOD! I have a Gidget here too. (We have five all up) I like Fidget as a name for an Iggy.
  3. Unless it is hot (or god forbid RAINING!!), I can walk my Iggies 7 to 10 kilometres EASY....and they would STILL keep going, it's me that wants to go home. (and one of them only has three legs!) They really LOVE their walkies, whereas my daughter's two couldn't care less. I guess it's up to the individual dog(s) and what they are used to.
  4. Nevermind.....always another Winter around the corner...we will have it in plenty of time for the next one!
  5. Back in his Mum's arms where he belongs Good to see that this story had a happy ending. The man who stole him has also been arrested.
  6. Please help get the word out about George and be on the lookout for him. The reward is up to $4000. His owner has organised an recon/search/poster posting/get the word out to locals/ in the area today at 1.30pm Meet at Crn Bourke and William St Darlinghurst, dogs welcome. Link attatched - Help Find George! George is a "Blue" Staffy - grey/brown in appearance. He is DESEXED and MICROCHIPPED He was last seen wearing a tan leather collar with gold emblems around it. His details are etched on to the collar. They have probably changed it by now. He will be 4 years old on the 3rd August. GEORGE (Facebook Photo Album)
  7. If anyone knows, is it just for humans or can we bring our Dogs? Thanks.
  8. I'm pretty sure I have done this correctly. Did the order then paid by Direct Deposit. Thank You to all involved behind the scenes.
  9. If it isn't too late I would like one please.
  10. Mine love the pineapple off the top of a Pizza.
  11. Good parking, ease of driving to venue, shade, not in Summer.
  12. Thanks ish. Looks ideal, we are looking into it
  13. Hi, I'm hoping to meet up with another DOL Italian Greyhound owner this month. I will be staying in Daylesford, she is in Melbourne. Does anyone know of anywhere inbetween or abouts where we could meet up and have the Iggies play in a safe enclosed area??? Bit of a long shot I guess but doesn't hurt to ask! Thank You
