  1. thanks for all your comments, we already have a strong bond. but i want to make sure it stays strong, and try to make it as strong as possible. we've started going to a dog club on sundays, we go on nightly walks and play with his toys together. :)

  2. My girl Suzi passed away 29th of august last year, it was so hard to deal with her being gone there no-one to welcome me as I'd walk through the door. My nanna gave her to me for my 6th birthday, so i had her company for as long as i could remember. After she passed i found it so hard to sleep at night, i just felt so unsafe.. even though she was only a little dog, it still made me feel safe knowing she was there. But every time i thought about getting a new pup, id break down at the thought of replacing her, so i knew i wasn't ready for another. But 7th of May, my boyfriend picked me up after work and there was a puppy sitting on the chair, and that.s how i ended up with my boy. So it was roughly 9 months before i got another pup. I guess everyone feels differently about getting another animal after losing one.

  3. yeah, i can see how that would work out. im hoping he doesnt get any bigger than a border collie size.

yeah, he was at the vet 2-3 weeks ago which was when he said about him weighing 20kg, and he got weighed 2 days ago and he was at 12.5, so i cant see him putting that much on so quickly.

thanks for all the help, i'll have to have a look at his knees.

  4. my partner bought him for me, so no i didnt get to see the parents. he was told that the mum was a bullmastiff x staffy and the father was a border collie x blue heeler. his paws seem quite big, but im not sure as to whether he'll be relatively small, but stocky or big. hes just under 6 months and weighs 12.5kg, the vet said he thinks he'll get to 20kgs within the next few weeks. so i'm a bit stuck on ideas.
