  1. Saw this last week - funniest thing I had seen in ages  I love Batdog
  2. The info for Northern Tassie is very well timed for me, our puppy arrives in the next week or so. I had been wondering where to source fresh meat. Have you ever used Swift meats? Have some more info re "Swifts" at Longford. They're now called JBL and sell beef, lamb and pork products. Apparently they process 98% of the carcass, which is pretty good, compared to a lot of other butchers! I guess this means that there's not a lot of wastage and that they sell a lot of stuff that other butchers don't - great for the doggies! I guess it depends what you're looking for. You just need to ask! Thanks HM for the update. I've been a bit busy with new arrival and am spending much less time on line LOL. Pup loves the chicken mince from Farmyard chicken.
  3. Well Aus Post came through, all the puppy stuff I ordered online has arrived so we are just about ready for our new arrival . The safety gate is installed and the cats are trying to work out what is going on ;). Hopefully pup won't realise that for a few weeks he will be small enough to fit through.
  4. Sunday won't come fast enough!! Thanks for the photo. I will try and get the hang of FB and start my own photo album. I think I need to start snapping the cats so they won't feel left out . If flights can be arranged Mika may be with us on Saturday
  5. Thanks LC I will enjoy the puppy fix. (My sons know I'm a bit technology challenged by FB. I'm so wary of using it I hadn't realised that I had birthday greetings on there from family around the world until 5 days after the day!!)
  6. Thanks for the link I'm going there right now :). Need my puppy fix, I last saw them at 4 weeks and only found out which was mine a week ago. Just got my fingers crossed that Aus Post hurries up with a couple of deliveries before the weekend and my safety gate is still on its way with a courier.

  8. She is lovely LC. Is it black collar girl? We are looking forward to welcoming he 'red collar' brother very soon. Not many sleeps to go just waiting on confirmation of flight details. I think I am having last minute new puppy owner panic attacks ;). Find myself reading puppy related articles everytime I use the PC. Unfortunately I don't think he will have read them so we will all figure it out together . I also have to work out how to upload the obligatory photos from my iphone which is the best camera I have right now. Good luck with your new family member, decided on a name yet?
  9. Gorgeous :) I can only hope that our cats get on as well with the new puppy when he/she arrives in 2 weeks
  10. Certainly did WA. 8 puppies in one session is a bit overwhelming for someone new to the wonderful world of dogs but they were gorgeous and I managed to cuddle all of them. It was fascinating to watch them all go from active to fast asleep in about 30 seconds :D. Mum looked like she will be relieved when the kids leave home - all those baby teeth.
  11. How did you like the puppies? I seen them last week and boy are they soooooooooooooo adorable!!! I am thinking mine will be either black collar girl (cream), yellow collar girl (tri colour) or orange collar girl (tri colour). Did you get photos? ;) I have photos but need one of my tech savvy offspring to show me how to upload :D. Not allowed to have a favourite at this stage they are all so huggable. LM knows my preference is a tri so I will wait to see who makes the cut as show potential pups. Most of the pups seem to like paddling (or in one case sleeping) in the water bowl so I had slightly damp puppy cuddles LOL
  12. Woohoo! Another Lappie puppy! Two sleeps to go for us! Hi everyone, I have already started to post in the Spitz thread but as I am going to meet our puppy today (same litter as LucyCharzie) thought I would join in here too. We won't know for a few more weeks which pup will be ours and we are not going to do conformation but plan to do obedience/agility/rally-o etc By the time the puppies are 8 weeks I will have relocated to Tasmania so this is a total lifestyle change/treechange. For the next few months I am having a break from working so the puppy is going to be my main focus (OH may start to feel a bit neglected I think LOL) Starting to get very excited, there seem to be a lot of Lappies about or maybe their owners and future owners are just keen DOLers :) Good luck ceeshell - looking forward to photos and updates.
