  1. Hope you get some answers on tuesday. Poor little bloke, horrible to be itchy like that all the time.
  2. We are led to believe that it can live in the ground for many years. The most important thing is, to make sure the next puppy is vaccinated correctly. The chances of another puppy being infected I think would be low as long as it is vaccinated. If it were me I would not want the pup till it was at least 3 months and had, a second vaccination or a titer test done in this case. Yep, I'd at least wait until the new pup is fully vacinated and covered before bringing it into an area that had parvo.
  3. Ah whoops, reading threads (and checking links) properly is obviously not one of my strong points :D I did go ahead with the scope a couple of weeks ago. Nothing found in the nose or throat. I'm pleased as it also ruled out cancer. Since the scope she has stopped which is great but annoying as I never got a definitive answer as to what it was. My other dog reverse sneezes. This snorting was different as it actually sounded like her nasal passage was blocked. Oh well it appears to have sorted itself out. Pity you didn't get to find out the cause. I hate it when that happens, but at least your dog seems okay now. Bet you've got a nice credit card bill coming soon too!
  4. Really good response! Id be inclined to give them another go.
  5. You guys are awsome! Ive done my shoulder in so not able to help with moving, but fingers crossed for Vicsta81 and hope everything ends up okay for her.
  6. Great thread! needed a laugh today
  7. We use a pantry cupboard for food, coats, grooming stuff, dogs camping gear, etc and leads hang down the side on big hooks.
  8. I found two by fluke on ebay, really cheap a few months ago.
  9. Just found this while looking for something else. http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?showtopic=205156
  10. The cases I have seen personally (3 in the past few weeks) have all been unvaccinated puppies less than 4 months of age. What are people thinking!
  11. I got one of those battery operated nail trimmers from the cheap shop... and love it!
  12. He is currently on Science Diet Z/D Allergen Free. Before this I was making him a homemade diet of veges, roo meat and wholegrain rice for approx 3 months and before that he has always eaten Science Diet dry food with raw bones about once a week. I'd like to change his diet when/if we get to the bottom of what the problem is but have been having a hard time navigating through all the conflicting ideas on diet. Take him off the Science Diet! I had Champ on the same thing and he started to get better once he was off it. I went back to basics with chicken and rice, cooked and drained the chicken so it was a bit gentler on his system. I would NOT be putting vinegar on your dog, that would sting! Calendula would be the best way to go at the moment. Thanks for posting the instructions Erny, I was going to look for them
  13. I'm a big fan of glucosamin and chondroitin powder, you can get it from the chemist. My dog has had major improvements since starting on it about 6 months ago. Make sure your dog has lots of rest post surgery. Hope all goes well for him
