My show news from the weekend my older boy Blitz went best of breed and best of group both days at the North Canterbury Kennel Association champ shows and the second day he also went open in show, my younger dog Maverick got 1 puppy of breed and 3rd in puppy stakes. The australian judges that did the group judging were so nice

You're wrong - there are English Staffys - they're all blue
they must be really 'rare' :D
-
congrats go the stafford
-
they look like a great team
-
i've seen a cc withheld once and it was because there was only 1 of the breed entered and it was a very young dog
-

-
this is my rising star his name is Maverick, Whitestaff Top Gun, he had his first baby puppy of breed 2 weeks ago and just turned 6 months.

What about something like a staffy?
Do you mean a Staffordshire Bull Terrier or a generic brindle pound mutt "staffy"?
IMO no correct natured SBT is going to play nice with a bunch of Dobes who try to do a tough guy act.
Staffords tend to like to play games involving wrestling, leg biting and charging into each other and other random objects in their environment at high speed and seeing who can stand up afterwards, all the time growling and mouthing like tasmanian devils - probably not the ideal playmate material for dogs who already think they can "play rough".
totally agree

fantastic congratulations

you have a lovely looking pack and good to hear your old boy is getting back to himself

i have never seen this in the ring but would love to

I made my own database with the ability to search through judges names and see what shows they did, what comments they made. Also search for the clubs so I can see which dates I showed at which club, which dogs I showed and what the results were.
This makes it easy as when a dog gets its title I can print the shows straight into the title app form along with all the dog details.
I also use it to store dogs info, medical history, matings, whelpings, pup buyers details, club details and judges details.
I found this much easier than a spreadsheet especially with multiple dogs.
Would you like to sell me a copy? Please!
And me :D
me 2 please

i haven't but we don't win very often but i also don't see a problem with it
-
so funny
-
you need 8 CC's .... doesn't matter how many exhibits ... even if you're
the only one and you win the CC.
pretty sure one of them has to be after 12months of age.
you just can't get cc's as a baby puppy
-
i can understand your frustration i don't like my dog meeting out of control ones either
-
my parents would take my boy they love him almost as much as i do
