  2. Thank you all so much for your recommendations!!! It is very helpful for a new great dane owner!! Stormie - I will be seeing you in 2 weeks, for Spencers final vaccinations!! I think i will continue feeding him Advance until then (we still have a few kg's left) while I continue looking into the other brands suggested!! Also - I am already a member of the Dane sub forum, i have been meaning to write on the introductory wall! I will officially introduce myself over the weekend and post some photos of my little man! Thanks Again, Bec and Spencie
  3. Hi All, Our little fawn boy, Spencer is just over three months and he is beautiful. We are currently feeding him Advance growth Formula Large Breed Puppy as per the breeders recommendations. He really likes this food and he seems to be doing quite well on it, he is however on 5.5 - 6 cups a day and still seems hungry! but he is well covered with only last 2 ribs slightly visible. We are first time GD owners and after all my reaserch I am just concerned that this food is probably not the best quality available and was hoping to get some advice on the Eagle Pack varieties and whether to feed kibble and canned or just kibble etc. I know this is what the Great Dane Lady used to recommend but since the sale of the company now recommends Precise??? Any advice on Eagle pack or other premium holistic foods available in Australia would be much appreciated. Also - do you tend to give any supplements. We are currently giving him Vit C (500mg)which i believe he will just wee if his body doesnt use it? Also, any reccommendations on an AMAZING vet in the hills district in Sydney, Australia that has experience with Great Danes??? Our current vet doesnt have much of a background with Great Danes!! Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide, Bec and Spencer :D
