oughh double post

oh the poor boy!!!
if you can any way get him on to a premium food especially while hes still growing that would be best, as much as hes 8mths old he still needs to be grown out slowly
id reccomend small frequent meals a few times a day obviously. Feeding from a raised bowl
Chicken or beef mince with eukanuba large breed puppy kibble at least till his critial growth period is finished, that being said danes dont fully mature till at least 15 mths to 2 yrs of age.
for brekkie with my guys they were getting chicken carcasses, and then chicken mince of a night with large breed puppy kibble, now that i only have my senior boy he gets the chicken carcasses of a morning and senoir biccies of a night with his mince.
feel free to pop into the dane thread if your after any other advice re this boy

Im a vet nurse too, and have recently had to euthanaise my beautiful harlequin nitro. There was no way in hell i was leaving him while he was given his wings, i stayed and kissed him and told him how very much i love him, and stayed with him 1/2 hr after he had gone, i juts couldnt leave.
I now have him here with me in a beautiful wooden cremation box

-
ill be at the dane specialty on sunday out at erskine park
-
the entries are still open from what i was told on sat, im thinking of going

Dont know anyone with a dane that feeds Great Barko sorry, Eukanuba is what i raise my danes on, feeding these large giants of ours isnt going to be cheep, if you can stick to a premium food it will work out allot cheeper for you than say a supermarket brand as you dont have to feed as much
-
oh he is gorgeous, good luck with him in the ring, look forward to many beautiful piccies of him
