  1. Can you buy these soft Elizabethan collars in Victoria?
  2. My vet had given my dog an Elizabethan collar to wear to prevent her from licking stitches for 10 days !! Any ideas on the best way to manage a dog with a collar for so long.
  3. Thanks for the advice, he is getting better!!
  4. I am showing a minor puppy at present and have found he is still very naughty on the table when the judge is looking at his teeth. Very wiggly and reluctant to show teeth. I thought I did everything right as a baby with his training but he has got worse!! Any training ideas would be appreciated.
  5. Just wondering who won the show today?
  6. Anyone knows if show at KCC park on Sun is inside or out?
  7. I will try the lead with treats. We have tried him inside daily but sometimes if he is really silly put him out again.
  8. He is crate trained and sleeps on a basket inside a puppy pen. You are all probably right it may be a maturity issue.
  9. I have a 7 month old terrier pup who is lovely and quite obedient outside. Unfortunately when he is brought inside he runs around silly and won't settle. I would love to train him to sit on a mat or in a basket. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  10. Looking forward to hearing BIS results
  11. Do they still judge baby puppy of the day. If so where do you find out the winner?
  12. Thanks for posting all the results.
  13. that should ring alarm bells It does a bit, it is still a waiting game , the pup in question is now 13 and a half weeks, the breeder has promised a refund if all is not well How did your pup turn out?

    Testicles

I have a young male pup I hope to show ( 14 weeks old) but I am unsure if his testicles are fully descended. Vet says they are there but not descended yet, is it too early to presume he will have a permanent problem? Is there something I can do to help or do I hope nature takes its course? Any advice would be appreciated. .
  15. Hi puglvr Yes my little boy is fine too. Running around as well. We did put a lot of work into him and it really.made a difference. :). Glad your guys are getting around so well too.
  16. Thanks all for your great ideas. Our boy has really improved over the last two days and is up on his feet in a bit of a stumble action. We have massaged him and exercised his legs every couple of hours during the day and made sure he was on his side when sleeping. Can now see he is on his way. Thanks again.
  17. Thanks for your reply. We have been doing similar things ourselves today. Hopefully we both have success!
  18. He took an x ray and said all the bones are straight and no deformities could be muscular. He is going to talk to a specialist. And yes he is heavier than normal which is probably not helping also.
  19. I have a three week out singleton pup (short legged breed) that cannot walk only crawl and he is using his front legs mainly. The back legs are not out wide like a typical swimmer but curved inwards instead. We have tried massaging back legs, getting him more on to his side and making the whelping box bumpy. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  20. Yes I agree. Thanks for the results Sway.
  21. Haha, I know, the entry for Sovereign City reached show sec on 18th March, I posted it on 8th Feb!!!!!!! Keeping my fingers crossed that Easter Fest will be there when I get home tonight. We got ours Tues. I heard others that got their numbers today. See you there.
  22. Very sorry to hear about your friends experience. Luckily I have not had anything stolen at shows but am always careful to never leave things unattended, especially when the general public are around. Hopefully someone will do the right thing and return the missing gear.
