I really hope this weather let's up soon. One of the dogs decided it was too wet outside to go to the bathroom, and decided instead to go to the bathroom on the shag pile rug I the middle of the night. Not fun at all. They would never do it in front of us, infect they will go outside and give me the 'you are a bad mum look' because I don't have a pergola yet, when it's raining and they have to go. Super frustrating, they could have least have done it on the timber floors! Arrrrgh. ( but they still melt me when I look at them)

I have two difficult dogs. I can't give them to anyone in my family because I don't trust them, but, I have a fantastic trainer who takes them for me. Just google Rick the dog man. He is amazing. He keeps them with his own two dogs, walks them every day, will actually give them some training, and if your dogs are well behaved, I think he uses them in his training sessions. My dogs absolutely love him and cry when he drops them off. I can't recommend him enough. He speaks at all the dog shows. He got my very difficult kids to behave. Tell him that Lisa and Alex with the two Westies sent you. I have recommended others as well and they have all been very happy!

Wow they are beautiful! Never heard of them before. They seem very similar to Westies but longer in the body with the puppy ears of a Westie

Geez I love my babies. I quit today and I'm feeling a bit down, a bit scared and a bit happy. My beautiful man is sitting on my lap, keeping me warm and giving me kisses. ( and growling at the naughty doggies on the tv, he he he) I hope it takes ages to find a good job. I wanna take long walks during the day with the dogs when I am normally cooped up in the office. All this beautiful sunshine and my kids are missing out Geez I wish I would win a lottery and would never have to work again. My little fur kids would love it.

Be cranky with yourself, you chose to have mulch when you have dogs, you left the plastic bag within their reach, not much I can see that the dogs have done wrong. I suddenly remember why I stopped posting on this fforum. It's because people feel the need to be nasty in response to posts that help me talk through my problems rather than take out my frustrations on mynfamily and my dogs. I needed a vent, not a lecture. I didn't say I was cranky with my dogs, I said it's hard to be cranky when they are so adorable Oh and yeah, I came home today and swept again, because I love my new garden and I love my dogs even more, but it's still super annoying As for the treat bag, I think the breeze blew the doggie door open and the bag off the kitchen table. Thanks to all ofyou who can sympathize

My babies have harnesses that lock into the seatbelt clips. I had an accident where someone ran into the back of my car and they were just fine thankfully. Not only is having an unrestrained/unharnessed dog very dangerous for them, but it can also be very dangerous for the people in the car as they can act as a projectile. Better to be safe than sorry! I wouldnt drive without my seatbelt on and I wouldn't do that to my precious babies either. Good on everyone that does the right thing!

I'm so dam sick of having to sweep every night because the mulch is sticking to the dogs hair. On Saturday, I vacuumed and then mopped, one hour later I had to sweep again because of the mulch. Arrrrrggghh On top of that, tonight I had to clean up the plastic bag that they ripped open that had the scraps of the treats in it! would it be wrong of me to shave off all of their hair???? It's so hard to be cranky with them when Dexter is warming up my feet and Miley is checking out the front window for the boggieman for me.
