I saw somewhere that a few rings would be closed over this weekends shows. Wish I took more notice at the time. Anybody here know which ones? And where were the respective rings be placed?

Sandra777 no need to yell! I actually agree here! But I do find this interesting to discuss, but please don't yell and shake your finger at me, while telling me to get my head around it! I was only referring to what I had seen, not what I actually think! Sheeze now let's continue with the discussion.... :)

Maybe, but it is an interesting topic! I witnessed this recently, when three bitches went in for CHallenge and the challenge was not awarded! The judge did talk to the three competitors as a group, but in all fairness the three involved are all constant winners at a high level, two of them even at Class group level consistently. So what would the story be here? The three I think, came from puppy, open, and oz, so surely one of them could have been good enough.

If they deemed the dog or dogs good enough to give them first in their classes, then why do they not award a challenge? Surely if they were not up to standard then why give them a class?

After mating, when is the earliest you can scan to confirm puppies? Most say 28 days, but I am sure someone has said you can check earlier than that.

Would anyone out there have a C Crate / trolley for sale?

Just explain to them at Puppy School that you intend to show, they will understand. I did the same as you and had awful trouble at shows stopping my boy from sitting. Although the judge is forgiving when they are baby puppies. When you stack him just place your index finger under his stifle, this prevents them from sitting. You will get there! Good luck and most of all enjoy yourself! Where abouts are you?

Pffft! I am not complaining! I was only asking! Mainly because if I have o move everything for the show the next two days I will put up with being a minimalist for Friday night! That's all I wanted to know!

Yes! Where will it be held, and then Saturday and Sunday? When will we know?

If you want to be truly independant and you don't need to much room, why not a umbrella that has a stake hammered in the ground, then a 'umbrella tent' thrown over the top, which is also pegged into the ground. So easy to handle by yourself and up in seconds!

Is there anywhere to stay with dogs down near these shows? Dogs stay in trailer but still need them close. Can anyone recommend a motel or cabins please?

Does anyone know if the rings will be out the front ( new lights) or out the side where they were last year?

Or any Gr 5 results?
