  1. So my first obedience trial is coming up and i'm very nervous! My border collie has reached the highest level at our obedience club and she has been working really well. But what concerns me is that she can get distracted with new dogs and people (she just LOVES people). I'm worried she is going to be to distracted by all the people that she will not focus on me. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!
  2. It's a small pink lump, the gunk is what I've been cleaning. Yeah i'll try cleaning it and then i'll take her to the vet as soon as i can get her in. Thanks for the advise guys!
  3. Hey Guys, I have a border collie about 6 months old. Just wanting some advice on what this might be and if i should get it looked at by a vet straight away. I've noticed her eye has been weeping a little bit the last couple of days. I've cleaned it as it has gotten gunky but I've just noticed a tiny lump on it. I do have another border collie a year older so i don't know if it's just been scratched in play or if it's the lump? Let me know what you think, I've got her booked in for the vets this week. Thanks in advance! :)
  4. I'm not sure where i should ask this so i thought I'd start here. I'm looking for a place that does herding training in the hunter region or just a place you can practice herding? I have a border collie that has come from a herding background and i would love to look into it even as a fun activity to do on weekends. If anyone has any info or contacts please let me know :) Thanks!
