On the weekend the Weimaraner Club had their back-to-back obedince trials. Can i just highlight the fact that Kerry Winters took out the honours (Highest Scoring in Trial) in both trials with her two dogs DUAL CH (O) Krikka Lady Gwenllian and Aust Ch Abtei Arms Of Valour CDX. Also Pam Gelme's Grand Champion Tirriki Ciaran O'Casey CD JD got his CDX on the weekend, which is two titles in a week when he got his JD last sunday, so Pam and Ciaran have been really really busy! Anyhow, i took photos some of which can be seen here. If anyone wants a copy i am happy to oblige, but pm me, and i'll give you a copy without the big watermark. I had heaps of fun watching everyone, and i think i'll start trialling. Congratulations to the Wei Club for successfully running two trials, well done Nikki and Gail on all your hard work :rolleyes:

If you're after a good quality compact I highly recommend the Canon IXUS 850 IS. I have had several compact or point and shoot cameras of varying brands, and I have found that Canon make some of the BEST cameras. I purchased a 350D when they first came out upgrading from a Canon Powershot S60 (compact), and loved it. I recently purchased the IXUS because I am going to Canada for Christmas to visit family, and wanted something smaller but without losing the quality and manual settings that i got with the 350D. I researched for ages and decided that this was the best thing. The IXUS also has some fantastic functions which come in handy if you're lazy, or not sure what settings to have: eg snow, indoors, night etc etc. The biggest plus is that you can do macro, and good macro. I want to start getting my wei into flyball. I don't really know how or where to start. Is there anyone in the bayside (victoria) area that might be interested in helping me get started? I know that there are some clubs in Vic that do flyball, i dont think Moorabbin has a team or does training, but if someone knows a good club to join, or if Moorabbin does flyball, that would be great as I live 5 minutes from their grounds.
