if you want to do away with the eggs, use quarter cup of veg oil it will be a wetter mix so you won't use as much water. still come out the same tho I have found baking time is increased my oven is dodgy so I go by look rather than time :)

This is the mix I make, if we have left over vegies they get mashed up and put in carrots/peas/pumpkin mix is really tasty. Sometimes I can't be bothered to make the bone shapes so just use a sharp knife to cut into squares before baking. really easy recipe the dogs love love love it and hard to go wrong.

2 1/2 cups flour (I use banana flour it's gluten free)

2 tablespoons almond meal

2 extra large eggs, lightly beaten

3/4 cup pumpkin puree

1 small bunch parsley chopped fine'ish

1/4 cup cold water or enough to make dough stick

Preheat oven to 180.

Line two baking sheets with baking paper.

Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.

Mix eggs and pumpkin and parsley together in a separate bowl until smooth.

Add pumpkin mix to dry mixture in two parts, stirring with a wooden spoon or spatula.

Add water, a teaspoon or two at a time until the dough comes together – use your hands to mix

Roll dough out between two pieces of waxed paper to desired thickness. (I rolled mine 1/4 inch thick.) Remove top piece of paper, flip dough onto floured counter, and then cut biscuits using desired cookie cutter. Re-roll and cut scraps until you’ve used every possible bit of dough.

Place biscuits on lined baking sheets. If using a dog bone shaped cutter, you can make a pattern in the middle using the tines of a fork. Gently press down, wiggle a little, then lift out.

Bake for 20 – 25 minutes, until the top of the biscuit has dried out completely. Remove tray from oven and flip biscuits over. Return to oven, rotating cookie sheet, and bake for another 20 – 25 minutes until biscuits are completely dry. Let biscuits cool on wire racks. Store in an airtight container.

I get the hands full comment all the time when I'm walking Diva and my 4 year old twins. It's not an original comment but it is people being friendly much nicer than being ignored as people rush past heads down not daring to make eye contact for fear of contamination.

I'm another agility newbie. We just started Agility 3 or 4 weeks ago, so now I obviously know everything there is to know :laugh: not.

Diva is 3 Have to say she is good but user error is high, I'm the one needs training not her :)

Weaving is our biggest issue, some days she does it beautifully if not slowly other days she just looks at me like I'm crazy for even thinking she might contemplate doing it.

I'm sorry you and Zorro had a crappy episode. Hope your guy is ok. Sometimes you can't win no matter what you do. To me and I'm no expert she's at fault you had control of your dog she didn't. If her dog is reactive why didn't it have the fluro ribbon (or whatever your club uses to denote agressive/reactive dogs) attached? if it had you'd know to give a wide berth to the animal.

Can only comment on one long haired dog using a Sporn, My mum's dog is an oodle long hair blahblah. He's fine with it the harness has soft fleece over the straps that go under their front legs and this seems to stop any snags or pulls on his hair.

There is a BC at Ob Classes who wears a Sporn without trouble during classes there isn't any stopping to adjust or free up hair iykwim. He arrives with it on and leaves with it on, so his owner doesn't just pop it on for duration of the class.

I don't know of any obedience clubs that will let you use a harness on your dog for obedience training.

Ours does, In my class alone there are about half a dozen that use them. Halti's are the other thing used.

I use a flat but have just bought a sporn since we've had a couple of lunges, I just don't like the idea of her neck taking a whack when she hits the end of the lead.

Glad the lil one is going to be ok. Her owner must be feeling awful/relieved/stressed so many things hope she's not beating herself up too bad.

It (whole weekend) was really good, I'm not a trainer/professional just a dog owner and while some of it went over my head I did get a lot out of it. I had several lightbulb moments which will make life easier for us all.

Diva was the demo dog for frustrated greeter.

Have you thought about not getting a pup? but getting a grown dog? Diva is a retired show girl She's 3 and yeah she can be a right bitch with other dogs but then she loves others. Just the same as people we don't all love each other and get along so why should our dogs. (flame retardant suit duly donned)

Not saying this because her breeder is on this forum and has replied in this thread.

But. Diva is a perfect fit for our family, we have little kids one with special needs he has fallen on her twice now and she just moves away from him. by fall I do mean she's under him when he lands. I take her for the walks / runs/ jogs and she's great. We're doing Obd classes and Agility she loves both.

She loves people like there is no tomorrow and I'm pretty sure the only injury to anyone breaking into the house would be when they tripped over her in the dark as she angled herself in front of them for a better patting position.

Our last pup was also a SBT . . . however . . . she was not from a breeder I'd ever deal with again and had so many allergies she ended up blistering up just walking outside to wee on the grass. moral of the story Find a reputable Breeder.

Sams Warehouse has them they look like that, the carpet is removable for washing they were 20$ a week ago when I went in.

I was going to suggest KarmaCollars but Juice beat me to it. I'm in love with the "Paris" collar. The kids might get it for Diva for christmas.

our Sami used to get blisters that looked similar to those in your photos, hers were a contact dermatitis. She was an allergists dream though as she was allergic to everything. Is your guy allergic to anything or had any booster shots lately?

I used the Guide Dogs patties we tried BARF big dogs but she prefers the guide dogs ones.

Diva has been on a diet this last month. Previously she had an incredible coat so shiny and soft. The vet told us to go dry for the month while she loses a little puppy fat (Hills Diet) her coat isn't shiny and it's a lot coarser (sp?), even adding in contraband sardines and eggs.

Our month is up and she's down to an acceptable weight so we're going back onto the patties. will be interesting to see how her coat changes.

A link to your facebook page - our wet days we're to look on the facebook page to see if the class is on, it's a pita finding the page when I'm not on my home computer.

What is expected of you page - ie, dont let your dog race up to greet other dogs because not all dogs appreciate that and may react. ASK before going up to pet another dog.

How you can help page - do you fundraise for your club? if you do what days do you sausage sizzle that sort of thing. Do you have a social day (xmas party) and if you do is a gold coin donation or is it free.

Extras page - At the end of each 4 week block is there a fun day where you put out rally O gear and agility gear and all grades mix and have fun.

Our boy (4 years old) had a stroke at 14months old, it affected his speech development along with the other physical ailments. While none of our dogs were ever therapy dogs and Diva certainly isn't it's amazing how much progress loving an animal can make, they don't care about funny sounding words or clumsy walks like people do. Jack is near normal in speech now and if it weren't for having dogs even the tho he's seen two off to the stars (rainbow bridge) he wouldn't be anywhere near as clear as he is now.

I didn't get to see the show worse luck.
