  1. I just have to say publicly, that I have the most amazing support crew ever. My daughter Taysha, her friend Danielle (Who just flew in from her honeymoon)and friend Janine just came over and woke us up, cleaned the whelping box, cleaned Aurora-Rose, set up a photo shoot and took the pictures then said go to bed   I feel very blessed sometimes.
  2. Aurora-Rose and I have had a very sleepless night Starting last night at 10:30pm and finishing (I think)at 6:10am AR delivered 6 girls & 2 Boys Sadly 1 girl went Will post photo's later, right now we are getting some well earned
  3. Congratulations Poodles Rule on the safe arrival of your litter. Have'nt seen or heard of a double sack before. Your all coming up with some interesting things in the Septemebr litters with double sacks and Parkeyres cryptic merle
  4. That is really fascinating Parkeyre. Thanks for showing the pic.
  5. She is definately making up for all the times we have missed Congratulations Parkeyre !! Can't wait to hear the breakdown and see photo's.
  6. Starting to get excited now and also thinkingn of all the "what if's" that go with breeding. I don't think it actually hit me till the weekend and we started to set up the whelping room that Aurora-Rose is having puppies. I have a fair idea that she knew though. 10 days to go photo's and so you get an idea of just how big she is, this is AR doing Jnr handlers last year
  7. Sorry about the little boy that crossed BB.
  8. Wow 9 has to be a lot for your breed BB. Run free the two little angels. Photo's when you have settled down please :D AdoubleJ, does the tan darken as the get older? It's always interesting to leqrn about other breeds.
  9. I will definately be getting an xray done on her closer to the date. This was 3rd time lucky with Magnus & Aurora as I had tried twice before with no success and so opted for surgical AI using fresh semen. When we ultrasounded last week the vet found 8 straight away but we are not sure if some are double ups. Estimate is between 7-10 Considering an average Lappie litter is 6, I think we over did it
  10. Congratulations Bord3aux and Adoublej on your babies. Lovely to see so many Spring puppies entering the world. Any news BB with your girl or has she just kept you up all night?? I took the girls back for a 2nd ultrasound last thursday and unfortunately Niina doesn't look like she will be having puppies this year. The first ultrasound had showed 2 little sacks up high so we went for a 2nd and found nothing. Aurora-Rose on the other hand had oodles of puppies She is enormous for only being 6 weeks in whelp and walks around with a stately waddle.
  11. Thanks Missymoo. I had planned to mate both the girls in the hope that one would take and they both did It will be a very interesting couple of days at the end of september :D
  12. I didn't want to post in here until I had ultrasounded the girls as it had put the mocker on me so many other times before but I am thrilled to announce that Niina (Ch Sibermoon Niina) is in whelp to Dolce (Ch Armahani Crystal Caibmat)puppies due 21st September and Aurora-Rose (Ch Articmal Dynamic Fortune)has been successfully mated to Magnus (Gr Ch Theldaroy Green with NV(AI) and is due on the 23rd September Both litters are Finnish Lapphunds :D Yay BB and Gretal for your impending litters
  13. Hope things are going well down there on the pink grooming table.
  14. Hi PA, At the roundabout at Davistown Rd and Avoca drive is Green Point Vet Clinic. You have to drive past it to get to Davistown/Saratoga http://www.greenpointvets.com.au/index.html I can't speak highly enough of them as they have been fantastic for treating all of my furries at any time of the day or night. They have an open door policy and visits to sick pets and inspection of their facilities is encouraged. It is run by Dr Andrew Radcliffe and on occasion when I do have a litter, they will come to my house to check/microchip & vaccinate, rather than have the puppies exposed at the clinic. They have grooming facilities as well but I have never used them. For me they are everything I want in a vet and as a breeder who does have a certain amount of knowledge about their breed, they will listen to me and do what I ask instead of telling me what they are going to do.It really is a collaboration to benefit the dog. I love my Vet :D
