  1. Just wondering if anyone has had any personal experience with desensitization to bees. My boxer had a severe anaphalyic reaction to a bee on Wednesday, and my vet now suspects she will react the same if stung again. I'm booked in to see the dermatologist next week to discuss testing and desens, but would love to hear any personal experience (good or bad). Thanks in advance!

  2. My old girl was pts for a suspected brain tumor. She started with the head seizures which increased in frequency and duration over a few weeks. She also was increasing scared of loud noises, and towards the end started restless circling. I chose not to do an MRI as I didn't feel that a diagnosis would change anything for her. It was a hard decision but thinking back and looking at short videos I'd taken to show the vet, I do wish I'd made the decision earlier than I did :(

I hope you enjoy the time you have left with your girl, give her a hug from me x

  3. Did your vet rule out panosteitis? My boy had forelimb lameness that would improve then get worse over a period of time which started around 6 months. My reg vet thought the X-rays were clear but sent them for a specialist opinion and he was diagnosed with panosteitis. Just a thought..

  4. Def get him checked out by a vet! My boxer girl developed green snot which cleared after two different lots of abs. It has reoccurred twice since, the second time my vet did a flush of her lungs and airways and identified the bacteria. The next time it happened we used the same abs for that bacteria. If it occurs again he wants to refer us to a medicine specialist! Good luck with your boy
