  1. Hopefully! Just frustrating as you can imagine. He's not the best listener being French and all ;)
  2. Yep. He's desexed. He has a toilet word "go toilet" which I use with him. He used to hold until we'd take him out in our last place or he'd go if he had to in a tiled area (same surface really as our balcony now). Probably will just need to go back to square one! :/
  3. Thanks I will get a bottle of vinegar. Assume Home Brand is fine? How do I dilute it? Will try him on pads again too... :)
  4. Hi everyone I also posted in the puppy problem area so please bare with me - really need to try and sort this problem out. My 13 month old Frenchie, Tank, has started peeing inside on carpet since we moved house last week. I'm kind of at my wits end with him and am starting to get more and more angry and frustrated with/at him. Does anyone have any advice please re correcting this behaviour? He used to be really good inside. I was thinking crating him again at night, restricting him to the kitchen when not home (it's small though and he won't like being in there if we are home), leaving him on balcony, etc. (balcony is north facing so gets sun most of the day which isn't ideal for a Frenchie). Also, what do I need to do to make sure the carpet isn't destroyed? I don't have any proper cleaning product yet so have just been trying to soak it all up with a towel and then water over the area. I don't really care how much a product costs - I just need to be able to get rid of any smells (thankfully not noticeable yet...). Apartment is rented so REALLY need to sort this out... Thanks for any advice!
  5. Hi everyone Not sure if this is the right place for this. My 13 month old Frenchie, Tank, has started peeing inside on carpet since we moved house last week. 6. Gosh I haven't been here for a while! Hope everyone is still enjoying their puppies! Tank is six months old now. Just got him desexed two weeks ago. Haven't noticed a change...! Except maybe he pees less? Here are some new pics of him. All taken down at Rose Bay Beach. (awesome spot!)
  7. I crate trained Tank. Didn't last long... He's been sleeping on our bed for the last month or so. I move him to his crate if his snoring gets too much. He settles pretty quick... I recommend it - it was great for helping him learn where to go toilet as I'd take him there as soon as I let him out. Also good for separating him from us. And he sleeps in it during the day when we are not home.
  8. We had a Frenchie fun day today out at the regatta center at Penrith in Sydney. Was such an awesome day! Tank won 'Frenchie with the Happiest Face'! I think I'm going to have a big Frenchie... Tank was so much bigger than all the other pups his age! He's five months old today and he is over 9kgs... Some pics... :) Tank competing for prizes... Tank playing with Max (brindle, also five months)and Delilah (pied, nine months I think) This photo is too much!
  9. Gorgeous! Their noses look so funny all pink. Tank's is almost fully blackened now.
  10. Got him the holistic pup one (2kg bag). She was surprised he didn't like royal Canin. She said if he doesn't like this, I can swap, but give it about a week. Fingers crossed he guzzles it up!
  11. I'm definitely going to change tanks food. He pretty much ignored his dinner again tonight
  12. Yeah Tank acts totally different with Frenchies compared to other dogs. He also likes poodles. The really pretty skinny well groomed ones. No idea why haha
  13. Haha. We let tank fall asleep in our bed then straight into the crate once his lovely snoring starts......!
  14. Tank met his brother again at 17 weeks. I'm pretty sure they remembered each other but it might have been wishful thinking! Tank has 'friends' in our neighbourhood that I'm sure he remembers... But he sees them once a week or so.
