  1. Craig is a great guy with great products. My dogs looove the composite mix and he can deliver almost everything you wish for for your dogs and cats. The chicken frames are MASSIVE!!!! :D
  2. I know it makes sense.....I guess I was hoping one of you had seen it before Thank you for your inputs!
  3. She be happy to hear that :D Still, think it's odd that the vet have to cut it off to figure out what it is.....but then again...What do I know
  4. Her vet said he never seen anything like it and he is not a young vet. The owner saw the pimple when the dog sat down and his "lipstick" came out. The dog don't take any notice of it at all....no licking or anything. How do you think he will react to having an operation on his penis???
  5. I have a friend who have a 1 1/2 year old Maltese x. On his penis there is what looks like a pimple. It’s under the “head”, with a black head and a red ring around the actual pimple. She took him to her vet and he wanted to operate because he had never seen anything like it and he reckon the only way to figure out what it is ....is to cut it out. Personally, I would have phoned other vets to get a second opinion.....and I’m not happy operating on the penis....simply because it must be difficult to keep clean and not very comfortable for the dog. Have any of you knowledgeable people out there ever heard of or seen anything like it?? Looks like a big pimple with a black head and a read ring around the “root” of it. She told me it looks like something you could "pop" with a needle. Thank you!
  6. So sorry to hear about King, looks just like my Charlie I have similar problems with my pug and he’s going in to the vet tomorrow for x-ray and possible a trachea flushing to figure out what kind of infection he’s got I pray for his speedy recovery
  7. I've never had a fussy eater, but I decided to change my kibble to some thing better. I have four dogs of all ages and sizes. The first delivery of NUTRO and I had four dogs waiting at the gate, following me into the kitchen and they all wanted to jump into the bags. I've never seen anything like it. I am currently OS so I had to make up individual portion bags of the kibble for my hubby to feed them the right amount. Of course, I mixed it with what I currently had them on so they would not get upset tummy's. I gave them a portion bag each that night before I left for OS and one of the portion bags ended up outside the rubbish bin and I could not believe it…………I had the dogs almost fithing just to lick the inside of the plastic bag!!!!! The small bites are perfect for my Chi and the senior one is great If you have old dogs with not much teeth or sore gums cause it's made up so it's easy for them to chew. My Dane is a very slow eater and he was doing pirouettes and eating a lot more passionate with the NUTRO. My husband told me yesterday that they are waiting for their food as soon as he come home. They all stand where the food are kept and wag their tails. This is the first time ever I've seen my dogs lick the bowl that long after being fed just kibble. Unbelievable reaction and I'm very pleased with the home delivery service too!!!
  8. His dog was called out to Turkey and Pakistan during the big earthquakes so the standards pretty high
  9. My instructor in Norway had an abused two year old German Shepard that he started with and he is now a fully qualified SAR dog. I personally don’t think you have to start with a puppy. It all comes down to the drive of the dog. I started my dog when she was about 9 moths old after attending an advanced obedience class and the instructor begged me to train her into a SAR dog after seeing her drive. I only trained for about one year and illness stopped me from going any further. It’s great fun and if you have the time………..GO FOR IT!!!!
  10. To My dear Ophie Well, it was time to give you the wings so you could cross into doggie heaven. God knows you deserve it, you very special girl. Your time on earth didn’t start out all that good, did it? Your owner had you tied up in a barn………….starved and beaten and luckly the inspector from RSPCA found you. They nursed you back to life from 25 kilos of bone to a beautiful 56 kilo Blue Merle Great Dane. You had such a good body…………..all muscles and you could run like the wind. It took a good 6 months before you could relax around us……….the garden hose never where your favourite……God know what they did to you with that one. And you loved to be patted and given all the attention under the sun. You learned to tolerate our two little Chihuahua’s and when they got their wings you thought……Oh, you beauty.I have them alllll to myself. It didn’t last long, did it? We had to get two new ones of the little buggers. You never even try to harm them and just turned your other cheek to Tazzie when he was chewing on your back leg. You weren’t too convinced when we brought Charlie home. What the? It’s a mini Dane……….what I’m I supposed to do with him???? As he grew and finally turned out a head higher then you…….you looooooved the spunky hunky Charlie. You played, ate and snoozed together. It was nice with the company too when you had to stay at the vet when the two legged ones went away for the weekend. About eight month ago something was wrong with you. Half your face collapsed and you more than likely had a brain tumour. The news was no good. We would either find you passed away or your behaviour would change. And so it did. You attacked Charlie for no reason on two occasions and we couldn’t risk a third. After talking to two vets we decide to give you your wings. We could not have a ticking bomb around……….you could harm humans. It was only matter of time. So, we have set you free for only to come back in our memories for ever and ever. We are the lucky ones who got to know and love you, Ophie. No more grey face looking at me thru the windows waiting for her breakfast…….no more grey face jumping on the gate when we come home………..no more grey face snoring in front of the telly every night…. Just a very confused Charlie looking at me with his eyes full of questions….. Where is she…..my best mate…..when will she come back and play with me?? RIP dear Ophie, you’re my special girl Ophie passed away at noon Saturday 16 July 2005 She was seven years old and we had her for four years.
  11. My youngest Chihuahua had his operation mid December and it took about two months before he willingly walked on it again. It didn’t swell up that much. Our vet advised us to use warm saltwater compresses (pressing firmly and move the leg) and moisturiser to stop the itching when the fur grows back again. (sorry about the english)
  12. I was told to spread some garlic powder over the dog food to stop bugs from biting. (Norwegian vet)
