Thanks guys yeah I'll have to put some pics on my comp to show u all if you wouldn't mind if love your thoughts on my latest thread about bleeding when mating you have all be so helpful this is an amazing forum I'm only new but finding it really good and helpful to have so many experienced minds in one place ????????????????????
  3. my male serviced a female today the breeding was a success however after being stuck just as they pulled away the girl dribbled a lil bit of blood and was spotting I've never witnessed this before and am curious as to what it can mean in reference to a successful pregnancy does it mean something has gone wrong or is this normal for some girls I don't mean her normal heat bleeding she was progesterone tested and was ready to mate the bleeding was watery not thick at all just that it dribbled out as they separated that caught my attention this is her first breeding and she now looks quite pink and swolen they both seem to be fine within them selves maybe I just startled them when I walked outside to check on them and they weren't ready to separate Arrhhhhh ????????????????
  4. I was surprised to see she didn't loose any weight either after having the pups maybe a lil but she almost looks exact the same such a big fat healthy girl
  5. Hi guys yes we ended up having the c section on Monday we had 2 pups very different in size but both are thriving mum is recovering well and somewhat back to her old self it was a stressful day but thank god it went smoothly puppies look just like mum and dad have a couple of mini mes hahaha thanks all for your help during this trying time luckily we were lucky that both mum and pups came out the end safely xox She is being such a good mum but she seems to have adopted my sons Scooby do stuffed dog as well haha
  6. Wow yeah I have seen that having 8 or so months between I think it's just the hormones arranging themselves some must just take longer than other lol
  7. Did you say you are cooking chicken for your dog ?? I thought cooked bones were a no go or do u take all the meat off for her ??
  8. 22 months wow that's out of the average bracket as well we're you worried at all gizabella
  9. 22 months wow that's out of the average bracket as well we're you worried at all gizabella
  10. Oh yeah it's strange coz I have another girl like yours who has come on every 6 months to the day so that's why I was so shocked at how long miss lu has taken
  11. Do u think (I would never do it) but are dogs like people in the way that u can leave a person pregnant and eventually everyone will go into labour (however both may not survive it) are dogs the same would she eventually go into labour if she is left long enough Not just her any bitch or do u think like u said earlier she would never have enough hormone to stimulate proper labour
  12. Personally I think I was accurate in her due date ive been considering another opinion I've been with my vet ages he has never steered me wrong before but I'm just not convinced I have been sure she is displaying the appropriate behaviours and attitudes that she is ready so I will get the test down and I think what u mentioned above may be the case
  13. Really I didn't know that ^^ ok I will take her for that test I have had it done on other females for the purpose of accurate breeding
