  1. Thanks guys yeah I'll have to put some pics on my comp to show u all if you wouldn't mind if love your thoughts on my latest thread about bleeding when mating you have all be so helpful this is an amazing forum I'm only new but finding it really good and helpful to have so many experienced minds in one place ????????????????????

  2. my male serviced a female today the breeding was a success however after being stuck just as they pulled away the girl dribbled a lil bit of blood and was spotting I've never witnessed this before and am curious as to what it can mean in reference to a successful pregnancy does it mean something has gone wrong or is this normal for some girls

I don't mean her normal heat bleeding she was progesterone tested and was ready to mate the bleeding was watery not thick at all just that it dribbled out as they separated that caught my attention this is her first breeding and she now looks quite pink and swolen they both seem to be fine within them selves maybe I just startled them when I walked outside to check on them and they weren't ready to separate

    Arrhhhhh ????????????????

  3. Hi guys yes we ended up having the c section on Monday we had 2 pups very different in size but both are thriving mum is recovering well and somewhat back to her old self it was a stressful day but thank god it went smoothly puppies look just like mum and dad have a couple of mini mes hahaha thanks all for your help during this trying time luckily we were lucky that both mum and pups came out the end safely xox

She is being such a good mum but she seems to have adopted my sons Scooby do stuffed dog as well haha

  4. Do u think (I would never do it) but are dogs like people in the way that u can leave a person pregnant and eventually everyone will go into labour (however both may not survive it) are dogs the same would she eventually go into labour if she is left long enough Not just her any bitch or do u think like u said earlier she would never have enough hormone to stimulate proper labour

  5. Personally I think I was accurate in her due date ive been considering another opinion I've been with my vet ages he has never steered me wrong before but I'm just not convinced I have been sure she is displaying the appropriate behaviours and attitudes that she is ready so I will get the test down and I think what u mentioned above may be the case

  6. Apparently she was only 8 weeks judging by the ultrasound and X-ray that was the estimate the c sec was because the 2 pups were both very different in size and we were worried this will cause problems also she seems to be stressing that she does have pups yet I think her mind and body are very confused he also said because her last litter (he first) was so large that have only 2 pups and one is smaller that her uterus may be stretched to the point that contractions may not push the puppies out properly seemed strange to me but I would rather the c sec than anything happen to her or her babies so I just made the call that I found right for her he said if she starts to go into labour then bring her in and we can do the c sec then if not Monday's the day

  7. She is very private I never saw her mate last time either she doesn't like an audience but she was allowing him to jump on and was raising her V for him as well for 4 days in a row

We went to the vet yesterday and have a c section booked to birth the 2 pups she Was not as far along as we had thought

  8. Kitisln I have been in contact with my vet since before her expected due date he said as long as she is still drinking and her temp is fine it's normal for then to go off food for a few days it's their way of cleaning themselves out to prepare for labour so yeah bit rude as if I hadnt seemed medical advice I'm not that silly

  9. I have sat with her as she has the spare room to herself with her box and a heater and all to keep the room at the correct temp I have been bringing her inside every night but during the day she just wants out when she sits to the side her belly bulges and I can feel what I think is one puppy sitting jut below her rib cage but as she hasn't been eating her stomachs is a lil sucked in I'm mostly confused as this is her second litter and she was huge last time and had 9 pups this time she just looks fat she gets really excited when she sees food but then won't touch it or she just hides it this has been happening 5 days now

  10. No I didn't test her earlier coz I didn't witness a mating I'm just assuming as she has bloated and does have larger boobs and her behaviour changed

I'm assuming they will do an ultrasound and it X-ray tomorrow they told me on the phone to wait till 65 day as some can whelp a lil later than others
