  1. Signed, although I didn't even try to watch the video
  2. As a pet owner this changes for me depending on the breed or type of dog. We have as staffy that we picked for his soft temperament. We wanted his breeds dependability with people, but didn't want dog aggression. He is very good with dogs, very gentle with the kids etc. he has been great :) We trained and socialised him with that in mind. We did research his breeds history, and are aware gameness is an important part of his make up, he does enjoy chasing a ball and diving under stuff :) Our toy breeds are companion dogs and we encourage that because it makes for nice inside dogs :)
  3. This is appalling Those poor dogs. I do my own grooming at home, these types of stories make me glad I do, although I know there are plenty of reliable places around.
  4. This is really strange, I wonder what the investigation will come up with.
  5. I have the oil form which is really strong, but the spray type isn't so bad. I use it before I go to another room lol
  6. What about a camp shower to hose him off :) As for deodoriser I second Nilodor, it's really good. Steam cleaning might help the upholstery a bit too, and a mat/crate/liner would make clean up so much easier. If nothing else you can trade up to a ute or get a dog trailer :p
  7. I just got two litter mates, two female Pom crosses. It's a few days in and going well, they are settling in nicely and happy to be separated for grooming/playing/training. We have kids and I think having another dog around makes them feel a bit safer :) Thanks for writing this thread :) It's given me some ideas of what to expect.
