I noticed a red rash 2 weeks ago on my 3 year old black lab, I thought it was ringworm. The next week it had turned into a raised lump about 1cm wide. I went straight to the vet and they biopsied it and it came back as a mast cell tumour. We are currently waiting for the pathology results expected tomorrow/Friday and i am so worried. I've heard Labradors and young age are more susceptible to aggressive tumours.
She has always had allergies and now I'm wondering if this triggered it at such a young age.
Thoughts welcome?
