Hi everyone, I was too excited I opened the packet and put it in a container, I don't think it will make that much of a difference, I will break it up and maybe serve it with some wet food or something else to boost their nutrience, but overall, do I have the all clear? I don't need to buy the small breed one?

Just another quick thing, I've accidently bought the eukanuba puppy food instead of the "small breed" puppy food, will that be an issue? Also, what are everyone's thoughts on crate training? I really don't want to crate her, but I know it may help with her training

Hi everyone! So I am now bringing home a gorgeous Pomeranian puppy in three days! Her name is Nala I've accidently bought the normal eukanuba puppy food, instead of the "small breed" puppy food, will that be a problem? I feel like the "small breed" label is just a marketing ploy. Do I need the small breed food?

I have my heart set on poms and chihuahuas, but my budget would be no more than $1,500, high end breeders sell for around $3000 ... wish me luck

I am starting to consider it, I have found a lady with a litter of pomchis that will be ready to go at the exact time I want to take a puppy home, I thought it was perfect! Basically I wanted a Pomchi because it's two of my favourite breeds in one dog, but now, I am getting overwhelmed with all the facts and health concerns so I may just have to start searching for a Pomeranian or Chihuahua

I am now having to rethink all of my life choices hahah, the dog I already have is a cavoodle and she is beautiful and the perfect temperament so I never had negative thoughts on designer breeds

Oh my gosh, she's beautiful! The only issue is I'm not able to take her now, I have to wait 10 weeks for the next NSW September school holidays Where do you manage to find these puppies?

I have one breeder that I found on gumtree that has a litter due in a few weeks, so far I have only gotten pictures of the parents and I am unsure of their reliability so I am keeping options open. Also, thanks so much for the links you sent me they were extremely eye opening and helpful!

Hi everyone, I am after a Pomeranian X Chihuahua puppy, I am finding it hard to find a suitable, trustworthy breeder, so if anyone can suggest one to me or point me in the right direction that would be great. But, I am concerned about what I should ask the breeder to assure they are reliable, what should I know about the breeder and puppies before I invest in getting one

I just wish I could find someone with a thorough knowledge of both breeds and that care about the temperament, health and wellbeing of the dogs, not just the money that they get out of them. Theres so many things to consider with this new puppy and I just don't know where to start

One final question, (hopefully) when will my puppy be fully vaccinated?

She is a Pomeranian X Chihuahua or Pomchi. But yeah, I will find out when she will be fully vaccinated and take her out with care, thanks so much!

Thank you everyone! This has given me amazing help. I have arranged a breeder and the pups are born in a few weeks, and no this isn't my first dog, my family and I have had another dog for 5 years and I decided its finally time to get my own. I think I will take my dog to the vet a week after I get her, just a bit anxious about not really knowing the breeder well at all and i am not sure whether to trust the breeder on their health. Another question is whether the puppy will need a 10 week vaccination and how much that will cost me if I take her home at 8 weeks? Sorry, I have so many questions!

If I get a puppy at 8 weeks old, 1. Is that normal? 2. Will I have to pay for the vaccination at 10 weeks? If so, how much is it? Also, I've heard that getting a vet check right after you adopt your puppy would be a good idea, but i don't understand why? Wouldn't the breeder take care of all the health related things?

Hi all, I am getting a new puppy in 10 weeks and I just have a few general questions, i plan to bring her home at 8-10 weeks old, just wondering whether I am allowed to bring her into my backyard in that period where she isn't allowed in public? And when do I know she will be ready to go for walks outside of my house?
