  1. I would recommend a specialist, do you know his PLL Status? It's certainly worth a check with a specialist.
  2. Bully run! Bully Zoomies have to be up there with the best :D
  3. All Miniature Bull Terrier breeders test their litters to obtain there PLL status unless clear by parentage. For me it could be a very even litter and i'd like to keep a clear male for my breeding program. It's very very rare however there has been confirmed cases of carriers sub-luxating If i have the PLL status available I can then give this information to the puppy buyers.
  4. Yes I have used Carriers in the past and will use again in the future. These Carriers are only ever mated to clears and all the litter is then DNA tested before they go off to their new homes. If used sensibly and correctly there should not be a problem.
  5. a martingale collar, I use these for my Miniature Bull Terriers. Here
  6. Big Dog Pet foods at Lawnton on the Northside sells a great range of Raw foods too http://www.bigdogpetfoods.com.au/
  7. Sorry should have added that bit, I used the Animal Health Trust UK. However another Mini Breeder friend of mine used the OFA around the same time and the turn around time for results were very similar.
  8. You can get onto the AHT UK or OFA USA website and order the test kits online, they then send you the kit. You or your vet can take the swab and send it back to them. I just had a litter of 4 Mini's done and it took about 3 weeks for my results to come back. They email you your results with a certificate to follow in the mail.
  9. I've also paid at the sale of the first pup.
  10. I've just received a very generous sample of the Black Hawk Holistic and all the dogs loved it, I will be trialling my pups on it for the next few weeks Edited for spelling

  13. My first dog after I moved in with my Husband was a gorgeous bobtail Rotti. That was way back in 1994 he was bought as a pet only. Lived to a ripe old age of 13 years old. edited to add a piccie, unfortunately not a great picture! it's a scanned photo back from 1997. Rex our bobtail is on the left, Suzie was a pound rescue, she's on the right.

  18. I'm keeping an eye out for a second hand one to add to my collection. Why do they always seem to be for sale only in Qld or WA. Keep your eyes peeled.. you'd be surprised where you find one! I found an old c-crates style steel trolley at the local sunday market - the lady had no idea what it was (oh yeah, you can probably stick your dog in there, or something..) and I got it for $40! The matting needs replacing (clark rubber) but apart from that it's beaut! It's heavy as but I don't mind - I'm just happy that it will last. very true, i picked up c-crate trolley at my local market for $30.00 perfect condition just needed a dusting off I also picked up a c-crate large crate for $30.00... both in perfect condition just needing a dusting off
