Quite a common problem..... the easiest solution is to have them removed when she gets desexed...... :p
-
I am so very sorry for your loss GoGo, how devastating.
-
Fantastic - what a great hour of the day to start whelping! Hope all little bubbsa are doing well
-
Believe me, even Guy (Driftway) does not charge those prices - even for a show prospect..... he would choke on his coffee at the thought

Hi Alfie - here is my 2c worth - Being a labrador fanatic, a serious exhibitor of labradors and without opening myself to legal ramifications, I will not comment the breeders you have stated in your original post. I would strongly reccommend the following labrador breeders: Driftway - NSW (though I doubt will have any chocs at present) Wilhelm Chang - Labraddell prefix in QLD Chanpema - South Australia Gunnislake - NSW I am sure there are other reputable breeders of chocs out there, but can personally vouch for the above breeders. I also strongly agree with all other posts - $1800 is way too much to pay for a labrador puppy - regardless of imported lines. Chocolate puppies should not cost more than yellows or blacks. Please be persistant and patient - your purchase of a quality labrador puppy will be well worth the wait

They'd have to be a member If a complaint is made, it would need to be to the Veterinary Surgeons Board I am so glad all is going well, keep us updated with plenty of photos!!

Here are some updates from my litter.... all doubled their birthweight in 7 days... little piggies, they are 9 days old today
-
Congrats Z n Q, hope all bubba's are well, RIP little ones who didnt make it
-
No worries SBT, pls don't beat yourself up!!! Unfortunately, I have to announce that my smallest yellow girl went to the bridge this afternoon. I worked on her for a while when she was born as she was quite slow to start. She's been fine, up and feeding with the others until lunchtime today. Interestingly, when we had an ultrasound on the mother, we found one pup smaller than the others which had a slower heart rate.... we can now confirm that this was most likely her. RIP little angel...

WooHoo "Go Tara" and congrats to the Driftway team

Thats fantastic MM, all the very best for the 25th! All my little bubbas have not stopped being plugged in today! Little piggies! All very quiet and content! Also, for a first time Mum, she is doing a tremendous job, it makes our job so much easier. I hope everyone's pups and mum's-to-be are going well. Also, SBT101, can you please correct the first page to read 6 girls and 2 boys - thanks

Goodluck italmum, looking forward to hearing an update! -
How lovely it is to see all of the new bubbas They are all beautiful! Here is a shot of my girl who has (hopefully) 6 days to go. I say hopefully as I have a VERY full week ahead! My son will be swimming at the aust. age championships on Tuesday, home on Wednesday (hairdresser), Labs at the Royal on Thursday then back swimming at the nationals on Friday - then, finally home for madam to start whelping! Now I do know that she will most probably throw the week into kaos and have them early, whether it all goes to plan or not, I am going to be exhausted!!! Have my parents coming to stay from Wednesday so there will be someone home with her - just in case!!! I am getting excited now - bring it on
-
Congratulations Lilli, how exciting! Can't wait to see some pics
-
OK..... all went well and the puppy count on xray was 8!
-
An xray for my girl today, so I will update later with numbers!
-
Here is another belly shot.... 2 weeks to go!
-
one more... she is 43 days today
-
Tummy pics as promised!

We had another ultrasound yesterday, identified 5 pups, 4 very big and healthy and one smaller fella who's heart rate was slightly lower than the others - fingers crossed he catches up woth the others. Will be having an xray most likely around the 1st April to get a definate number of puppies. Looking forward to that!! Hope all the expecting mothers are doing well Yes, I did promise belly shots, but have been extremely busy at work, hopefully take some on Sunday
