  1. hahahahahahahahahaha :D I have two girls and they hump all the time. One is 4yo the other is 2 1/2 so good luck in trying to stop him. Apolo
  2. I had a dog that would not wear a collar so would not walk on a lead. I put the harness on him and had no more problems walked everywhere on a lead after that. Also had a girl that hated the harness but would walk with the collar and lead. Cant please everyone all the time just some of the times.
  3. Hi Whippy Have you thought of going to puppy school. They will give lots of helful hints that will help. Good luck Apolo
  4. Hi Becky in Oz We did not think of a ant bite but when I found one in her coat we then looked very hard for any marks which was hard to fine on a black dog with dark shin but we found a few tiny red marks and the vet said that was probley the reason. I also found one in my bed so I think they had got court in her fur and this was the problem. Hi vanessa I have a habit of calling her a him so don't worry. Hi Poodle wrangler I have had a bitch that had Seizures/ epilepsy and I thought not again as we lost her in June 2004 at the old age of 2 1/2 years. She does not get rewarded for the screaming but the first time it happened I did pick her up but she did not want anything to do with me all she did was run mad around the house while her mother tried to comfort her without success. She is fine now and had her last vaccination and microchip today and was very good. I am happy with my vets as the usual one I see has done extra courses and the other vet is the orthopaedic vet so between them they usually work out difficult problems. I have a vet about 200 mts from my home and I have been there once and never again. I would rather go the extra klms and pay a little more for good service. I am lucky I can phone my vet up at home for help if needed, but it takes her a good 30+ minutes to get to the practice if I need her in a hurry but there is always someone else there on call if needed. Apolo
  5. Hi vanessa The pup is a girl not a boy. She has improved a lot. Today she came inside through the pet door and was squealing very loud and I thought we were going through it again. We have worked out that as she has long hair a ant has got into the hair and bitten her. As she is black it is almost impossible to see if she has been bitten. I found a ant on her today. After about 15 minutes in my arms she quieten down and has been ok since. Thanks Apolo
  6. A big thank you to all who replied to this topic and to those who privately PMed me. Baby is much happier now. Tonight for the first time in a week she cuddled up in my arms and seemed to be happy there. Squealing has stopped and tonight she barked for the first time. This shocked me as well as herself. She is now sleeping in the Whiskas cat house with her mother and the house is quiet and we can watch TV in peace. Thanks again everyone. Apolo ;)
  7. Try ebay or dealsdirect.com.au
  8. Hi lucyluv This little girl can not bark (at present) and does cry sometimes but not much. She has always been the quietest dog/pup I have ever had. It is the very loud screaming, running, banging into walls, spinning in circles that I am worried about and so are the vets. She has no flees or ticks. Only had three screaming episodes this morning and it is getting quieter each time.
  9. Thanks BellasPerson. I will cook up the rice and chicken breast in the microwave today.
  10. Hi Jag She did get a light clip on Monday morning. Both front feet and yes tail and bum. She is used to the clippers as she has something done each week since she was 4 weeks old. As she does not go out no one sees her but us. We are getting her used to the clippers very slowly and she is ok with the grooming. Anal glands checked at the vets on Tuesday morning and before she left that evening. All clear. What would you call a soft bland diet?
  11. Hi t-time. No bowel blockage. vets checked her stool that I took to them on the first visit. She did another late in the afternoon while she was at the vets and that was checked as well. A OK no problems there. She had chicken neck on Sunday morning and all this started around 6.00pn Monday with trip to vet Tuesday morning. Hi poodlefan She gets Eukanuba one day, Royal Canin the next both for puppy. I make mince with veggies, rice or pasta, egg, garlic and she gets that at lunch Raw chicken or raw mince at night. Plenty of water on hand all the time. Her stools are good so the vets say. I took another one to them yesterday and all ok. She has quieten down a lot and at present is sleeping in one of the cat houses that she loved but mainly that is next to where I am sitting.
  12. Hi BellasPerson I have tried the crate and all we had was a louder screaming. We cant have the extra noise here as the neighbours are a pain in the but and contact the council and we get visits from the animal tean. She used to love the crate as we went to the vet in the crate every trip but now the only place where she is a little quieter is the cane basket under my computer table. I had a much better sleep last night (thank goodness). We have had a run around the back yard this morning and a number 1 so I will now wait for the number 2.
  13. Hi All I need help with a 15 week old tiny toy poodle. Up to last monday we had no problems. Came when called, used the pet door and no accidents inside. No unnecessary barking although she has not got a bark just a sound that I have never heard before in any of my pup. Sleeps on my bed all night and was very good. Monday afternoon she started going crazy, running around squealing very loud, would not come when called, wont go outside and if I go out with her she runs around the yard squealing very loud then races inside. Messing anywhere inside. Squeals most of the night with me getting no sleep. Tuesday. Taken to the vet and could not find any problems so asked another vet in the practice and again could not find any problems. They kept her there all day and she did a number 1 and 2. No worms and No 2 was normal. Wednesday Squealing all day and eating small amounts drinking during the day. Night yelling less than monday but very loud as she sleeps under my pillow. Thursday Little quieter during the day and evening and hopefully tonight as I need some sleep. Anyone with any ideas please. Apolo
  14. Thanks guys for the answers. I am in FNQ and had a number of cane toads when we first moved into the house but after a very short time there were none till last night my girl had one bailed up. Now I know why she has been going mad every night when we go out side for the late toilet time. So tonight I will take the Phenol spray with me. My next question is - How long does it take for the Phenol to kill the toad? I am worried as I have a 14week old little girl that does coppy the older girls. Thanks again Apolo
  15. SALTWOOD Can you please explain the use of Phenyl? Thankx Apolo
