Thats probably the best way to go. I've mounted lots of my darkroom photos this way and the tape can be peeled off without leaving much residue. Just tape the back of the photo with a T hinge to the board, that way you can lift the photo off the board to check for mould or silverfish underneath the image.

Just make sure you double check what you bought before taking it out of the store. I bought a lens cleaning set at one of these shops and they took out the cloth before they handed it to me. Goodluck!

Thanks for the replies! I would say more people and building photography than lanscapes. I'm looking at the sigma 17-70mm and the pentax 18-250mm atm. I like the larger range on the 18-250mm but wonder if it would lack quality compared to the 17-70mm. I'd rather a better quality lens with average range than a larger range with less quality iykwim? I'd only want to take 2 lenses at the most.

I have a 18-50mm kit lense that came with my dslr but am looking to upgrade. I'll be doing quite a bit of travel photography next year in Europe so want to get something half decent which i could also use for doggy pictures when i get back. What focal range do you thing I'd need? I'm very new to this so wouldnt have a clue! Any suggestions? I have a pentax dslr, and my budget is about $400-$500. Thankyou! Ooh, another quick question. I have two older slr lenses. They're both yashica prime lenses. Could I use them on my pentax k100? They have a different connection to my pentax body, could i buy an adapter of some sought? Thanks!

What about getting a play pen and filling it with goodies? Upside down carboard box = cubby? Then replace it when it's been chewed through. Tennis balls, large rubber toys etc are good for pups. Don't leave any small objects unsupervised with the pups, they might choke on them. You can get $20 "play pens" from bunnings. It's called something like "compost bin," but looks exactly like a play pen. It comes as 4 metal panels, which you can cable tie together. For a bigger pen you can buy 2 lots. Do a search on "compost bins" on the forums for pictures, there has been a few threads on them recently. Hope this helps, Goodluck!

Haha, can't resist not answering this question, even though it's not aimed at me! I taught Spencer to weave with the V poles. Can't remember what the method it called sorry, but its great! You just set up the weavers on angles instead of straight. Then gradually build them up to a vertical position. Also, I never put Spencer back into the weavers if he pulled out say half way thru. I always started from the beginning again. I think this helps with dogs jumping out of the weaves during a trial. Spencer hardly ever pulls out now. :D Hope this is all making sense! And contacts, well Spenc absolutely hated heights when we first started. It took him about a year to finally accept that the dog walk/frame wasn't going to move under his feet! Turns out he LOOVES the see-saw though! I would think the see-saw would be scarier then then the walk?! I taught him 2o2o. He has to do a 2o2o on our stairs every night before dinner. Maddy basically learnt the weavers from watching Spencer. She revolves her life around him. It's all a big game for her. "Beat big bro!!" haha. Shame I can't trial her . Unless we can get her [swf]agression sorted out, its only backyard fun.

Hey! Ok, I'm going along to a skate park demo day on Saturday and have been asked to take some pics. I'm still very much a beginner in SLR cameras. So basically I’ll be taking some happy snaps, and, if anything turns out well the coordinators might use it on their webpage! I’m still toggling with the ‘P’ setting on my SLR.
