Tell me about it! Mum drags me out of bed and pushes me outside every morning, I try to hide under the covers and stuff but she gets annoyed and tells me she is running late for work or something and makes me go out. Its not my fault she has to work every day!

I have to say that I hate it more when mum puts her cold feet on my warm belly while in bed. I keep growling at her but she does not get the hint!

For pee times I wear this:

Cody downed half a block of dark peppermint chocolate and threw up on the kitchen floor. The chiwi x god knows what who ate the other half threw up on my lap. But both were fine after they'd got it all out.

I'd seen a "Groodle" at the lake and it was so weird, I wanted to know more about the "breed". I googled the word and this place came up in the search. I've not been the same since.

Oh dear. See, water is supposed to be liquid so it can be swam in.

I don't think I could love another dog like I love Cody which is why I haven't got him a companion. I don't want to bond with two dogs.

I'd say it's pretty common but I can't speak from experience. I met Cody as a 5 week old and took him home at 8 weeks. I bonded with him on my visits to see him in the 3 weeks before I could take him home. He slotted right in to my life and has been a part of me ever since.

Don't force it. It will come if it's going to.

They will get none of my money. I understand the workers on the floor do their best, they just happen to work for an organisation that has policies which go against my belief system.

On the news this morning I heard that St Vincent De Paul in some NSW town is seeking greater government support because the human need in their area has gone up 4-fold in recent times. Also another charity organisation mentioned in the story noted that the requests by low income families for assistance with bills has increased 75%. I imagine that the needs of animals in the community parallels some of the struggles that families have to contend with.

Do you guys want to have a kick at those charities too, for not managing their expenditure better?

Having more demand for services because of the worst floods in decades is a little different to the demand the RSPCA has every year at this time.

I have spoken to my doctor several times, He gets mad at me, I have spent $140 ph on phycologist few weeks & nothing has helped me. I tried meds but they didn't agree with me so I stopped & I don't trust meds anyway. The whole thing has effected my entire life. I,m just at a stand still. i'm on heart tabs also.

Time to find a new doctor.

I'm sorry for your loss. It must have been such a shock. I can imagine you feel not only heartbroken at the loss of your beloved pet but also betrayed by the person who was supposed to heal your baby.

A dog is not a person, this is true but they leave a pretty big dent when they go. I know I'll miss my boy dreadfully when he's gone.

Looks fine to me. The coats vary a little. Mine had that sort of coat when he was little and he's grown up with a definite full coat.

Rumour has it, Cody is the most awesome dog ever.

Funny, there's the same rumour about Spencer at mum's work. Apparently everyone she works with thinks Spence is a genius dog or something. She tells me that even when she goes interstate for work, people there will come up to her and say, "I hear you have a really smart dog.". It's bizarre.

Better not tell them that Spence often hits his nose on the wall when he turns around in the hallway. He's lived here for nine years and still doesn't know how wide the hallway is...he's no genius :D

But really, I haven't heard anything about myself that I can think of. Of course people talk but I got over caring about that when I was 14. I'm a growed up now.

Hmm, Cody is the opposite. He goes mental when he sees me even if it's been months (Once I had to move and then get him a couple of months later) His whole body wags.

Also, my parents travel a lot but when he sees them when they get home, he does the body wag.

Cody conversed with four 7 week old puppies at the lake on Thursday. Pretty sure that's way too young to be out and about. Now I am worried Cody might have given them his bug as he fell ill on Friday.

Of course there's nothing I can do about it, it's just a concern. Are dogs like people in that they can pass on a bug before they show symptoms?

All they did was stitch a small flap - seven stitches in total. Plus AB's for a week and an injection for tetanus. The consult fee was $110 which I thought reasonable though for a Sunday night.

$110 sounds more reasonable than $180 for a sunday arvo.
