VJB Posted January 31, 2010 Share Posted January 31, 2010 My backyard is being invaded by a beautiful blue flower wasp. Problem is, Heidi seems so interested in getting close and personal with these creatures. Apparently they are not an aggressive wasp, but they are digging in the yard to lay eggs in other grubs, so I'm wondering how many we will end up with eventually. The other day, one of these wasps was on the ground, with a huntsman, laying another bunch of eggs into it's body. Heidi could have easily grabbed it while this was going on. They don't really fly away quickly, and appear very 'tame'. I'm worried something will happen when I'm not home. Anyone else had any experiences with flower wasps?
