Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me if Austral is the only place in Sydney that holds ring-craft classes?

Also, for anyone that goes to the Austral one, is it really only for pups or all ages?

My hubby and I could do with some tips handling wise as we are letting our boy down with poor handling.

A friend of mine told me there is one at Castle Hill as well on Tuesday nights. Not sure what time. I thought there was also one with Dogs NSW out at Erskine Park but can't find the info. I think that was on Tuesday nights as well.

I am a newbie, so have only been last week to Luci Ellem out at Austral, but no, its not just for pups, infact last week there were more older dogs than pups there. I took my 3 year old golden while waiting for Willow to be vaccinated at 12 weeks. There was another guy there that was in the same boat, took his 3 year old Wei, who like Phoenix had been obedience trained only.

Luci and John at Camarna Kennels train dogs and people of all ages at their show training on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. You will have a lot of fun and get heaps of help. :D

We always take our pups down for socialisation and training, although we rarely show All-Breeds, but it is a great place for GSD's to interact with other breeds of all shapes and sizes :D Plus Luci keeps me on my toes!

Agree with what others have said - Luci will whip you into shape and help elimanate the bad habits that we all pick up.

The training at Castle Hill is Tuesdays - start time 7.30. ( Have not been for a while but this is more socialisation of your dogs and less hints on how to improve your handling)

There was training the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at Erskine Park but the lady running that is no longer doing it and I do not know if they have found someone to replace her yet.
