Paws79 Posted August 5, 2010 Share Posted August 5, 2010 Hi everyone, I've entered the Perth Royal Show for the first time this year and I'd really love to dress up the bench. Only trouble is, I'm not the best at sewing and I don't really know where to start...lol! I would love to see any examples of what other people do with their benches to dress them up, and perhaps any tips eg. how to fasten the curtains to the bench, what you use for the base etc.. would be wonderful. I've seen very cleaver use of bulldog clips and other stationery type clips used on simple pieces of fabric such as crushed velvet look quite effective...AND...no sewing required! Helps I have a MIL who owns a curtain business so she made it all for me :dancingelephant: Base is made from fabric and lined with wadding.
