Eukanuba Dry Food Recall

Sorry if this has been posted already.

I was sent an email stating the following -

melamine was being added to the ingredients in the dry food. Supposedly sourced from China, sent to US and there it is manufactured. Dogs in the US were getting renal failure and linked to the dry food, hence the recall.

I have not researched this, but thought I should put it up just in case.

Brings back nightmares though! I have a cat that survived Orijen.

Melamine from China has been involved in several recalls of several brands of dog and cat (and human) food over the last couple of years.

Yep this is old. And the recall wasn't do to with melamine it was because one of their tests in the factory came back with a positive to Salmonella, so they recalled everything, closed down the factory and reopened somewhere else.
