I picked up the "Cessnock Advertiser" yesterday (11th July, 2012) and found an article saying the Society of Companion Animal Rescuers Inc has called on the NSW Police Commissioner, Andrew Scipione and Police Minister, Michael Gallacher, to establish a Police Taskforce to investigate the recent spate of dog thefts in the Hunter Valley.
