Russkie30 Posted February 24, 2013 Share Posted February 24, 2013 Hi all we have moved to Bendigo from Brisbane we have oversea holiday booked and our dogs will need to go into kennels. Any recommendations. I've looked at heathcote. My concern is we are away in winter and I have a11 year old goldie who is an inside dog and worried the cold may affect her more than the younger dogs Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
trojka Posted February 24, 2013 Share Posted February 24, 2013 If you are talking about Toolleen (near Heathcote), they are fantastic! And the only kennel in the area I would recommend. perrin Posted February 24, 2013 Share Posted February 24, 2013 You could also try one of the pet sitter companies that come to your house. A bit exxy but you can get them to come out twice a day which we've done before for Perrin who has diabetes and needs insulin injections. I *think* that they also have a program where your dog can go and stay with a family for the duration of your holiday. At least they used to. I'm not sure if they still do or not.
