  1. I ditched Black Hawk a while ago found my gsd was dropping condition on it since the new packaging changed, he's now on TOTW and his condition is back, when I want to fatten him up a bit I give him warm oats and honey mixed with his kibble and more meaty stuff ie lamb flaps, lambs necks and lamb shanks :)

  2. Teebs not on here much and just read about Atlas :( There are no words I can find to help ease your pain, he was a very special boy and loved by all here at Dol and enjoyed reading about his antics of what he could eat, RIP Atlas hugs to you Teebs

  3. Sorry to hear about this following are two links that are worth reading our dog's prognosis wasn't good but with the help of natural alternatives he had a great quality of life and more quantity than we expected although it is never long enough. Even our vet and specialist were amazed at the results of the Graviola, Ollie's journey was amazing :)

If you do the juices remember to look at the percentages some are only around 40 - 50% you need one that is much higher concentrate than that ratio.

  4. Bit disappointed I placed an order on 7th March so it could be done on the 8th and I would get it on Friday in time for the weekend and paid for Express Delivery with tracking for $11.50 it hasn't turned up and when I tried tracking the item it came up as number not recognized so I tried ringing K9pro twice sat on the phone and it disconnected both times after a certain time I've sent an email but now it is the long weekend and no items or able to check what has happened!

  5. We've had them every night since Christmas and it started here at 8.30pm tonight :mad My animals aren't fussed by them but some of them are so loud I've jumped a few times and I feel for all the animals who are noise sensitive and panick and end up lost because of it :( if only people could do things in moderation it would be tolerable!

  6. My gosh so hard to think of something to say befitting the beautiful Ollie dog, he was an amazing member of your family and your devoted boy, thank you so much for sharing his journey on Dol with us all :rainbowbridge: Rest easy Ollie :grouphug:

  7. It's a shame you can't speak to her and ask some questions, her well being could be in jeopardy, definitely from what you describe it is a working dog who has passed all requirements.

One person had their guide dog attacked and never mentioned it, it became fear aggressive and he was so scared they would take the dog off him as they do become very attached to their working dog and it ended up in a nasty accident, I hope this isn't the scenario for this lady :(

  8. Is the dog in harness? Prospective guide dogs with dog aggression usually fail before they are assigned to a person, another factor could be that this dog has been attacked whilst working and that has led to the aggression, unfortunately this does happen to guide dogs on many occasions thanks to irresponsible owners :( If the latter is the case the dog is usually returned to the centre for retraining and if it can't be trained out another dog would replace it.

It is an extremely dangerous situation for person who isn't fully sighted to be in.
