At the hairdressers on Saturday morning a lady said she'd already had a tiger in her backyard through the week. There was an article in one of the papers and since middle of July a snake catcher said he'd already had calls and caught 29 so far

I love the warmer weather but because of all the building going on in our suburb they are taking away most of the open areas so the snakes have no choice but to merge with us, it's not their fault but I am always worried about free running the dogs in warm weather, at least in the cooler months we have a better chance.

According to Channel 10 news at 5pm the dog has already been PTS????

This was on the radio this morning, it was a purebred Pitbull and they had the President of the club on this morning with callers able to call in and voice their opinion.

How horrific for the family and such a sad loss to a sweet and innocent life

Bear is lovely thanks so much for sharing. Having cats I just love the pic of him with his feline friend and it is wonderful seeing him working sheep. A GSD doing a job they were bred to do What is he like with tiny annoying dogs lol

I recommend www.macklinshepherds.com. I sent them an email a few months ago gushing about how I love that they're keeping the traditional look of their German Shepherds and they just very lovely to converse with. If I ever get a German Shepherd, it will be a Macklin. Their dogs are gorgeous.

We have some people cross the road when we're coming but mostly people want to pat Bear especially as black Long Coats aren't that common and he gets admired by many people on our walks. He definitely not evil and has loads of character and such a smile that melts hearts.
