  1. Thanks betsy, I'm not too creative and not quite sure if I like it, but it'll do for now. Thought it was time to update, since Pepper isn't a squishy little furball anymore.

Lovely pics of Echo, kyliegirl. Dobes are gorgeous and Echo is so big now! (I'm sure I say that every time though, lol.) His coat is looking lovely and shiny and he's looking very happy! :vomit:

  2. I can't wait to start flyball so I can join in on the fun!!

    Good luck to everyone!

    I warn you - it's highly addictive!

At least I'll be addicted to something!

And it turns you into a nutter

Or is it just that the nutters are all attracted to doing flyball?!

:) I guess I'm gonna end up being a nutter either way!

  3. Oooh yes, mini-win for us over here! (OK, BIG win for me - LOL)

Passed our Bronze assessment after fretting about it for so long. Sorry to KTB and Mr. KTB for having to listen to me rant about failing for so long. Hehehe!

We didn't pass heeling, but I was already expecting that.. but we did better than I expected.

Next level - we'll have to train more and I need to have a little more faith in us, instead of me being so pessimistic all the time.

  4. Clastic - Send your furkids down the street to my place and they and Kuma can rumble all day. Until Kuma works out that solitude is great

(nice grass btw  I think I worked out which was your evil neighbour... possibly the guy who gave us stink eye when we walked past on Saturday with Kuma)

We didn't lay the grass very well, but its there now.. just have to keep it alive! Some of it was looking a bit patchy, but I have since thrown some fertiliser down so hopefully it stays alive. There is still quite a bit to do out the front, the letter box, buy some bricks to put in a raised garden bed so it covers the visable slab!

Kuma will be so sick of my 2 licking him in the face constantly!

Evil neighbour is the one with fake turf.. evil evil evil..

  5. Kuma has seemed a wee bit depressed since he came home from the kennel... I think he is missing having playtime with other doggies. We just can't do a second dog. I would only have an Akita (sorry... they're my preferred breed and won't budge!) and I don't have the time to dedicate to another stubborn Akita pupplet.

We will just have to make Kuma's time more fun. He'll be happy once training starts up again... and we might try and get him to the dog park more often.

Awwww ... poor Kuma .... Why not bring him around on Sunday mornings after class? He can play with Mars, Hoover, Elbie, Ava and others ... We should do another playdate soon before it gets so cold that we look like desperate dog tragics ...

Satch is desperate for a play date... he has decided that dogs on our morning walk need woofin' at (and sometimes growlin' at! errrrr ) so I think he just needs to be around some dogs again.

Pepper is also in need to a play date, she'd enjoy a nice run outside with other doggies. Poor girl always gets left behind while Mars gets to play after Sunday class.

  6. Happy Birthday G!!

wuffles - We went camping at the Blowering Reservoir near Tumut, you guys are welcome to come with us next time we go camping. :( We have a small spare dome tent which you can borrow from us, but something bigger is always nicer. We mainly just go out and sit around, chop and collect some wood, go for walks and anything else we feel at the time. The doggies have loads of fun exploring and running around.

I thought the mozzies stayed away, but when I got home I found a heap of itchy bites everywhere.

ETA: KTB - Hehe, that 2nd photo of Elbie is so cute, love the caption that goes with it.
