My first thought on reading this, maybe she was bitten by a spider, so now associates the crate with that? Try placing the crate in a different spot, perhaps where she can see you all the time.

I see these people with inappropriately off lead dogs every day. Not a care in the world, no idea what is going on around them and could not give a flying wazzoo. Poor pelican.

No image, sorry. I could not transfer from My Documents to this site. The three Akitas loved the two British Blues, all used to snuggle together in front of the fire during winter. One Akita regularly cleaned the cats .

Are you sure it always was in a state of alter? Akitas have pick ears and curled tails, it's just how they are. Doesn't mean that they are a state of alter all the time. I have to spring to the defence of Akitas, having owned three together. They are known for their proud and dignified stance, always alert, but not about to attack. I love them, loyal and affectionate.

Hi Lena. Mia is beautiful, congratulations on the adoption. None of my Akitas would ever sleep on a bed, all preferred the floor, the concrete or the shower base. Worry not ;)

I am exhausted from explaining about oodles too, and have practically given up the fight. Imagine my amazement, one day a woman approached me and one of my pure bred Lagotti, asking why I bought an oodle instead of a pure breed! She was full steam ahead until I got a word in edgeways, then told me she breeds poodles and has never heard of lagotto, she walked off red as a beetroot :rolleyes:
