  1. Thanks, wacked it all together myself, I hate looking at out of date web sites, so try and keep it very up-to-date.
  2. Only 2 will be shown, him in SA, and his sister in WA. It will be nice to see how she grows although im sure she will be a dog sport queen Yes she will be very multi skilled, but sure you will see her until at least her title, too hard for her to keep a boy in a suburban back yard with a bitch that has seasons, otherwise think she would have been tempted to keep this boy.
  3. Only 2 will be shown, him in SA, and his sister in WA.
  4. 1st shows will be Ladies K C in March.
  5. Fetchitup Man Of The Hour (Rebus) sired my Gr Ch Flatterhaft Steal Or Borrow (imp swd) (Dare)
  6. Yesterday my lovely Gr Ch Skyehaven Mightnpower (Shine) was put to sleep after many probems after a blockage 2 years ago causing him bloat, the nerve to his stomach was damaged during the opperations and caused him big problems with passing food though, he had a 2nd surgery last year to make his life better, and went well for some time after that, but was always a short term fix, he had major internal bleeding yesterday and was rushed to the emergency clinic, where I was not going to put him through more surgery, so I held him in my arms as him pain was relieved forever. Shine was is still the most Succesful Flat Coat in South Australia, winning a BEST IN SHOW at a Gundog Specialty, 2 Best in groups and 3 RU Best In groups, a ru BEST IN SHOW at all breeds open show and his biggest win 3rd BEST IN GROUP at the Adelaide Royal show, 650 gundog entries. But his showing success was a small part of him, his personality was the best I have ever seen, a true gentleman and loved by all that knew him well. Gathing people up by there sleeve and leading them around to show people what treasure he had found. We love you Shiney Boy and will miss you always. Forever in our hearts.
  7. One of my Flat Coats comes in every 3-4 months, she is 4 1/2 now!! We haven't had any problems with her, she has a had a litter, but after we mate her late next year she will be de-sexed.
  8. Think Kennel cough has a longer incubation period, but would leave them home until it stops, could be anything contagous.
  9. He gets 2 small meals a day of Pro-plan sensative stomach and a small amount of chicken mince and chicken necks and yoghurt. Is charcoal proven to help with gas?
  10. Parvo takes 7-14 days to show and puppy would crash very quickly, sticky Diar would show up a few hours after crashing.
  11. I had a dog that bloated back in June, he survived even thought it took 2 hours to find a vet that would do the surgery. He also had a foreign body (possibly causing the bloat) and a growth on his spleen that was removed (beneign). He went on and got BOB out of 13 Flat Coats at the Gundog club in Sept and DCC at the Adel Royal out of 12 males. He is however now retired 8 1/2 years old, because his whole body shape has changed, almost like a pregnant bitch, skinny on top and a pot belly, which still gets very gassy after meals. Does anyone have a diet that would help reduce the gas build up that he gets??
  12. I Voted Eagle Pack, haven't been on it long, but so far so good.
  13. Yes I have started doing clicker training for show dogs, and have been trying to get a book called click to win by Karen Pryor, but I can't seem to get it and don't think it is in print anymore??
