Well, i did as well as i thought i would considering Zippy managed Challenge dog and BOB at the first show on Sunday while Fidget did what she does best "FIDGET" at all 3 shows and was very lucky that the judges forgave her and gave her challenge bitch even though she was the only bitch there . I was meant to go Monday as well but they didnt recieve my entries for that one the weather kind of held up most of Sunday but started raining at about 3:30 pm i took a taup with me and Fidget and i hid under that for a bit while Zip was in the carrier ( under the taup ) Fidget thought it was a great adventure and would pop her head out to say hello to everyone as they passed she had a few people laughing at her antics and to be honest i was too as she was acting like her and i were best buds on a big adventure ( we are best buds but the look on her face was priceless lol ) i told her she IS getting better at the walking but i will have to remove her batteries next time ( i told one judge she was my energizer bunny ) ive never experienced Noorat wet and yucky before its always been nice ?? it was different for once which is what we really want i suppose ??? Oh well thats it for me for a while i cant be bothered with it, i think i will sit back and watch where the breed goes downhill me thinks after what i saw ( and thats not sour grapes i will explain in person :D ) Linda.....

Well the alarm went off this morning, i did a quick thinking session lol and decided i needed more sleep ......... i may go this afternoon if i can be bothered......yea i know bloody waste of money, but then latley im feeling showing is a waste of time as well as money :D we dont have anyone showing our breed except for a judge and no-one can do any good if that person shows up, i think i'm suffering show burn out and since i was crook its harder to do everything so i may just pull the plug..... if i dont catch up with everyone at the show i will catch up sometime ok ?? No im not camping over, but the thought has been put there now i may sleep in the car for a night , will look like a train wreck the next day but who gives ???? better than 3 trips there ??

I will be there with Fidget and Zippy all 5 shows, cant believe i entered them all, the last time i will do it, i'd rather stay in bed and sleep lol

Thanks for coming last night guy's, I for one really enjoyed it and i would say Fidget did too wouldnt you ??? now you know why i need to put some extra work into her :D Zip also needs it after what the idiot over the back did to his dog, he needs to stop worrying about it........ i guess not, im going to train Fidget on my own....... its just a bit of lead work for her so not a problem, but if anyone wants to turn up they can ....... i have a table for small dogs and will get the pigtails and rope for the rings out of storage when i can, those with pets only are welcome to come if they so wish. Well i'm stuffed if i know what has prompted certain replies ??? i have read and re-read everyones posts and still cant see any red flag waving ???? As for training i originally wanted to start it so everyone could get together for a casual meet up as well as socialising and a bit of lead training for the pups( remembering that JJ had pups so did i and Janet was showing Boof ) show training is a matter of repetition the more they do it the better they get at it ........ I invited Obedience people to come along as im sick of the split between show people and Obedience people , not everyone is competing in Obedience and just because they might come along , well that doesnt mean we will be teaching our dogs to sit and drop each person does an individual, showies do a triangle Obedience people may do some sort of exercise to do with Obedience its the same thing as us, why do show people think they are so much better ?????????????????? im starting to question my further involvement in the show scene as peoples attitudes really disappoint me.In Geelong show training is open to all and its REAL judges running that one and Obedience people do go to it and are made to feel very welcome..... just remember not everyone shows and not everyone competes in Obedience. ;) :p

We had a great night out tlc, i wasnt all that impressed by the judges at the show's the first one canned my girl for having prick ears lol and then changed the reason for doing it to bad temperment when fronted by officials... that didnt hold water either as the sec stood her up and mouthed her then said she was fine , of course the judge was only saving face for not remembering the standard :D :D my boy was given BOB the first and second day most likely cos Fidget was only just over 6 months, time has flown cos i keep thinking she is only 5 months Fidget WAS given the bitch challenge the second day and didnt get canned for her ears Hope to see you at training on Wednesday night along with Janet tlc ??

YAY im back on.... thanks Troy....... :D Sorry everyone i lost my password to this site and others ( including web mail ) to a msn hacker the other day and its been so frustrating trying to get on knowing its the password/ correct email etc, but it being rejected non stop ( not only on this site ) but Troy has given me a new password for here and everywhere else has been fixed as well..... if anyone ever gets a message off supposedly someone they know on msn and there is a link to have a look at something DONT click on it as , as soon as you do it will take all your info and also send the same message to everyone on your contacts list and continue on its merry way, it also sent me a dummy trojan.. the bloody cheek of it :D Linda....

If i had the girls in the van they would have made him real comfy the other day an old fella got out of his car and used mine to lean on when he did...... the girls went absolutly bonkas at him and i think he had to hurry home for a change

The fella must have been looking at the front of the car, it really facinates everyone lol ive had people think that i did it and my injury was my eye im going to buy a big black texta and write A RYANS TRUCK DID THIS across the front so the rubber necks dont strain themselves looking and trying to figure out how i did it

Sorry JJ have to correct you on something lol...... anyone who is doing or has done obedience with their dog and who comes to training to socialise their dog/dogs can do a simple obedience exercise instead of having their dog /dogs do what show dogs do .....eg.... if they are having a problem with the dog moving when being approached then that is what the trainer would get said person to do , stand the dog while the trainer approaches and goes over the dog. It is not fair to ask obedience people to only do the show stuff just because we are , doing their own thing does not take any longer than a show individual........ Sorry JJ dont mean to rock the boat i know you would support this as well you just have BABIES on the brain at the moment lol

Sorry all, just couldnt be bothered getting on the comp lately......i got my entries off for Warrnambool and Ladybay, they might get returned yet will have to wait and see ?????? i also sent a couple of entries off for Ballarat as i do every year, i love going to that show......( thanks JJ for the offer of your mag but i got one before i read your message sorry ) About this show training, in Geelong we had it on Monday Mornings so it didnt interfere with anyone going to shows, we had a brag session where the trainers would ask each person what shows they went too on the weekend and what the result was for them..... we also had morning tea at training with each person bringing something to share ( dont have to ) we started at 10:30 and finished at 12:00 show training in Geelong was never just for show dogs , it was for all dogs and was very good for socialising , we had people with pets as well as obedience dogs come along, only diff is that Geelong was started by Judges Warrnambool by us , JJ knows what he is doing and i have been showing for almost 30 yrs we can do something to help each other and it will be FREE .....that is why the training in Geelong was started because everywhere else was charging an arm and a leg for what ??? a go around 2 to 3 times and tell you nothing ?? our training will involve giving suggestions on troubles the owner may be having as well as advising owners of show animals what looks and works best for them in the ring If you want to come and improve things in the ring or at home then by all means come everyone is welcome. Can someone put the details up for both shows please , i cant find my bloody book !!!!! i will ring the sec and let them know i'll be late... um would be quicker if someone put their phone numbers up as well ptherwise i will have to scour the phone book ?? lol :D Linda.....
