  1. Thank you all for your kind words. Koda developed what at first was thought to be wobblers - after specialist testing wobblers was ruled out. Within a 3 week period koda went from a normal healthy puppy to a little bit wobbly then to not being able to walk at all. X-rays showed nothing , MRI showed nothing . We tried hydrotherapy but nothing helped. After talking with the specialist and the vet involved it was decided that the kindest thing for Koda was to give him his wings. We will never get a definitive diagnosis but the specialist thinks that it was a brain related issue and was very fast progressing . We could had done a multitude of other tests but honestly seeing what he was going through we weren't prepared to put him through anymore especially when the outcome was so bleak. Koda is at peace now and waiting. Thank you all again
  2. Yes Koda was one of Narlas babies and he should have had a long happy life ahead of him . For reasons we will never understand that was not to be. But in his short life he knew he was loved .

  4. We only had you with us for such a short moment in time - you were just a baby at 5 months old. We would have done anything to keep you with us but it was not meant to be and giving you your wings was the kindest thing but the hardest thing to do . You were wanted and you were very much loved. We miss you and we will miss all the years we should of had with you Run free our big boy and wait for us at the bridge. Koda forever xxxxxxx
  5. Tinker had her surgery for her left leg on the 23rd and the specialist said it was actually worse than he originality thought and even though he us very pleased with how the surgery went she us in a lot of pain . Much worse than her right leg and we thought that was bad enough. Thanks for the suggestions and will definately be trying the rose-hip vital canine . I don't care if she walks a little weird I just want her not to be in pain anymore .
  6. Hi, hoping for some advise - I have a 10 month old American bulldog who had luxating patella surgery grade 4- 9weeks ago and goes back into surgery Wednesday for surgery on her other back leg grade 3-4. Her right leg that she has already had surgery on is brilliant and healed beautifully. My question is - does anyone know of a supplement that i can give her that will help ward of early onset of arthritis. Being so young and having had 2 patella surgeries I'm worried about arthritis at a young age . Any advice will be appreciated.
  7. Thanks Danny's Darling . The specialist is confident that Tinker will make a great recovery :-). I am sure Koda is going to be so happy to be able to play with her again. I'll post pics of Koda as soon as I figure out how to x

  9. Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to anyone but with everything going on with tinker I just haven't had time to get on here . :-)
  10. Hi everyone , Koda us doing beautifully, I'm sure I could watch him growing everyday - he is huge lol. He is so gentle and loving and the biggest sook. His sister Tinker (American bulldog) and he get on famously but at the moment and for the next 9 weeks they can't play - tinker a week ago had to have an operation for a trauma induced (playing with a friends staffy) grade 111 luxating patella. Koda can see her but they can't play . He's getting heaps of love and attention and my daughter brings her 2 dogs over to play with him every second day . He loves the beach and the car , loves the cats and the little dogs - doesn't like being left on his own very much but we are working on that. I would love to put up some pics of him but have no idea how to (computer illiterate ). If someone can tell me how ill post some of the gorgeous boy .
  11. Koda arrived safely on Friday and we absolutely love him. He has settled beautifully and thinks his new sister is pretty good also . Ill post pics as soon as I work out how to do it. Lol. Thanks Cheryl you did an amazing job and thanks for trusting us with him x
