Its not big chunks, its just small little drops. I think i really should pay a lot more attention to her bottom area. At the moment im only really grooming that area once every 3 weeks But its just so uncomfortable for her and its a nuisance. Shes fine with any other are of her body. Shes just sensitive there. But i understand why shes like that, i wouldnt like it either

Ok im so sorry if this makes u spew but i need to ask... Chanel (Longhaired) is constantly getting poo stuck in her fur (at the bottom end) . I have tried cutting just the ends of the hair off so that the poo will fall off, but she doesnt like being touched at that end. She wont let me go anywere near that area. Im scared that i might accidently poke her with the scissors. is there any other way i can go about doing this? i hope you wearnt eating when you read that

HEAVEN'S DOGGY-DOOR My best friend closed his eyes last night, As his head was in my hand. The Doctors said he was in pain, And it was hard for him to stand. The thoughts that scurried through my head, As I cradled him in my arms. Were of his younger, puppy years, And OH...his many charms. Today, there was no gentle nudge With an intense "I love you gaze", Only a heart thats filled with tears Remembering our joy filled days. But an Angel just appeared to me, And he said, "You should cry no more, GOD also loves our canine friends, HE's installed a 'doggy-door"! --- Jan Cooper --- 1995

How Many Dolers Feed BARF As A Result Of DOL?
!Kristen! replied to Ciara's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
i feed a mizture of bark and comercial. I diddnt know hardly anything about dogs before i came here (except that i really loved em). Now i bore my friends with lectures about how they shouldnt let their dog do this.. or do that... now instead of walking past a pet shop with dogs in the window thinking 'oh i want to buy one' i walk past a pet shop descusted by how they are suplied by puppy mills. I guess i've learnt a lot since i came to this forum. Thanx every1 ;) -

mum and i were going through the boxes under the staircase from when we moved houses and we came accross a box with CHANTEL written on the top in perminant marker. mum smiled and opend the box. inside was a heap of photos, ribbons and trophies. mum held a photo of chantel out infront of her and a tear came in her eye. the photo was of chantel and mum on their first day together (mums 18th bday). i would like to post a tribute to chantel our old sammy girl who passed on 4 years ago, from cancer and old age. she was a beautiful girl with the the biggest heart ever, she gave birth to 3 litters of pups, each pup carried a part of her with them. some had her great character and others had her beauty. But no other sammy will ever replace her. although a long time has passed we still remember her. Now we have another beautifull girl (only this time a collie) who has a very simaler character and also a very simaler name (chanel). Sometimes we like to think that a part of chantel is with our new girl. But Chantel can never be replaced. REST IN PEACE CHANTEL...
